Lower rank better tank

How can it be that frequently, tanks that are of lower rank than me have either more powerful guns or better hulls than the ones I can purchase at my rank? Do I need a video to show examples or can I just provide screen shots?

i have had the same things happening to me. lower rank and even lower gun/hulk combo kills me so easy but i shoot them 2 or 3 times with M2 rail and they do not die (no life supply used).

also, i have noticed that the thunder gun shoots as far as my M2 rail, what's up with that. i thought thunder was a front end tank to open up close range .

i hope i do not get banned for this - these are just the things i seeing compared to the topic.

I saw a sergeant major with like an m3 rail..might be m2 though. I went to go see what rank you need to be for an m3 rail and was all like 0_o
