What should my next upgrade be?

 Share

Recommended Posts

I tryed asking in chat but no one responded but what gun do you think I should upgrade next?

Railgun m1, Thunder m1 or Twins m1?

I also already have.

Firebird m1 Isdia m1 (favorite so far) and Smokey m1.

Also what should my tank upgrade be?

Hunter m1 or Hornet m1?

Tanks I have

Mammoth m1, Wasp m1 (favorite so far), Titan m1.

Now I know from what I read it's better to stick with one weapon and one tank instead of upgrading different stuff but when you get put in battles with ranks 7 levels higher every edge counts especially if it's gonna be while before you upgrade your main tank.

So which ones should I upgrade and use for awhile? My main boards that I like doing is Silence (Ctf) and Sandbox(Dm) . I can get pretty high up or top of the score board with isdia but lately long range weapons have been destroying me and it's time to hit back :P

Note: This is a legit question which I tryed asking in chat with no responses so please don't lock it or close it.

Would have made more sense to answer the question instead of waste space telling me to ask somewhere else. Thanks for the ones who did answer tho.

I don't suggest Twins. You do not have an M1 Viking or Dictator. I have M1 Twins and it's impossible to get any kills with Wasp- futhermore if you attempt to attack an active tank upfront, you will barely be able to attack him since his recoil combined on your Twin's Recoil will probably unbalance your Wasp. I play in maps such as Silence, and Mammoth is pretty slow unless you Drug. I have trouble finding Enemies with Mammoth. LOL! Anyways, I think your best shot is with Railgun or Thunder. It depends really. Do you like Guns such as Smokey or do you like guns such as Rail? Personally, they are tied in your question. Do you like infinite range? Do you like jumping out and back in of walls? I have seen a few people use Thunder and Wasp. It's great if you also use Smokey whereas you can use Hit N' Run tactics and all. Thunder M1 on drugs can wipe out any group of tanks. Yes, groups because of its Splash damage. Railgun can hold its own, but if you're getting swarmed, you're doomed unless you're drugging. Thunder is ideal on holding its own. Railgun can hold its own in a Big map VERY easily. On a fast tank such as Wasp, drive backwards while shooting. This will give you time for charges especially when a Freeze/Isida/Firebird is coming at you. Especially when they have a slower tank. Remember, M1 Wasp will cover up most other tanks in Speed differences. However, be careful of unbalancing yourself. Railgun can fit on Mammoth, but that's not my personal liking. Thunder can be good on both Mammoth and Wasp. However, remember that Wasp can make you kill yourself VERY easily. However, there is a bright side to this. M1 Wasp ( Kudos man. I use M1 Wasp too. :D ) only has 95 Hp, right? Well if you shoot a nearby wall or enemy, the damage will be like 50-70. That's over half of its HP already. You can make your enemies annoyed because you can put them in a critical situation with your deadly blast of Thunder, AND you'll kill yourself if you time it right. Who knows, you might have killed them too. A free kill, and nobody got you as a kill because there's a chance you've killed yourself already. With thunder's recoil, you can leap off a cliff, fire, and the recoil will help you stand upright so you won't flip. However, with Rail it is a bit different. You have to time your shot because it has to charge first. Shoot too early means that your tank will slow down and you won't have the required velocity and speed to jump off the cliff un-flipped. Too late? Well same result. Furthermore, if you do happen to land upright, you're already in the enemy's turf. Railgun's long charge ( Long charge compared to other guns) will render you as an easy kill until you regain your charge. With Thunder however, you're basically a minute-man. Once you land, you're a killing-machine that can resist dying in other tankmen's guns. If I sound like I'm giving more info about Thunder, then I must tell you that I'm not saying Thunder is better by a wide margin compared to Railgun. In big maps, Railgun is the apex predator. However, you will have to compete with Shafts. True, people these days say Railguns can take down Shafts easily. Well that is the result of Shaft being available at such a low rank. The Shaft-Veterans however will have strategies that'll wipe you out. As I was saying however, Railgun rules in Big maps. They are a general version of Shaft whereas you're portable. Capiche? Furthermore, you don't scope. This is a mixed blessing. One, you might miss. However, you'll have a hawk's eye of the terrain. Get it? You'll locate enemies faster and render them useless. With it's recoil you can unflip yourself if you're lying on your Side, whereas if a thunder does that, he/she will sustain damage on their own hull. As I said, it is generally a portable Shaft. You'll be able to play in any map, even in smaller maps if you know the right skills., whereas you know how if you use things like Freeze, you're stuck in playing smaller maps that are ideal for easy kills. Railgun can play in small maps if you know how to use it, and it's even deadlier in bigger maps, You'll be a crucial factor in stopping flag stealers. Freeze has to run to the enemy with their flag to freeze and kill them, Railgun just aim and shoot. It is a easy to master unlike Shaft.

P.S: I'm not saying Freeze is useless in big maps, It was my primary weapon combined with M1 Wasp in my newb days. My best I think was a 15-20 minute battle and I got 999 points with M0 Freeze and M1 Wasp in old Bobruisk map.

Railgun does not have a scope, but it doesn't mean that it can't snipe. Find a good spot, and you're good to go. It can unbalance other tanks too! Druggers have Nitro on, which leads to wreckless speeding. Wait for the right moment and hit'em. Say they go on a ramp, when they're in midair, hit them with a Rail. They'll either flip or fall off. If they fall off, it auto-returns your flag. If you hit other Wasps and Hornets at the right angle, you can make them spin 180 to a full 360 degree spin. It's happened before. Rail or Mammoth? Choose one. Just not Twins, you haven't the right hulls for Twins in my opinion.

Hulls- I've never seen M1 Hunters in M1 Rails. So I can't tell you much. M1 Hornet is a balanced version of Wasp, but a bit slower. If you enjoy Wasp, which I see you do, then get Hornet. However, if you feel as if it is too redundant, then get Hunter. It is even more balanced. Furthermore, I saw someone's post on how Hunter has no tail. He is right. This is a good thing. First, it can avoid a last hit from enemies because you're stubbier. Lol, so you'll escape faster from their range when say you're going around a corner. It can remain stable when shot at, just think of it like a dense cube. Conclusion: If you think Hornet M1 is too similiar to M1 Wasp, get M1 Hunter. If you adore speed, then get Hornet.

Please do as Crash suggests. No need to create an extra topic. You can use the Searching option as well.

He already created the topic, You're already posting in it. Might as well answer the guy.

Twins is ridiculously over powered, highest DPS in game if you can land every single shot. Does double the damage of thunder over time. Smoky, even with it's 8% crit chance does not even come close to the damage of Thunder on a single target... That's ignoring thunder's ability to do splash damage.

You can invest crystals for the M1 upgrades of whatever you want, Just don't do so for the M2 and M3 ones. Get the M1s and figure out which ones you love the most, It won't really take that much time you'll find yourself playing a single weapon way more than others within a week. Make a habit of taking a screenshot of every battle result and look at it after the game, you'll start noticing that you have a higher K/D ratio or crystals earned per minute number on some weapons more than others.
