you are funny xD, many funny people on forum very friendly and informative. also, the kick option does not affect my gameplay. and if there are players that have the thumbup thing, i would not dare to vote someone out unless the others agree on what i want, and who knows if the player going to be kicked out has some problems of their own on their end. <<< of the stick... yes?? no ? is that how you say it !?

maybe tanki developers should introduce a hosting system like in shellshocked, where a player hosts a game and filters the game standards to his liking. allowing certain ranks and whether supplies should be allowed or not into that match.

also the host can watch over the game for vulgar lingo in the bettle. and eradicate any kind of shenanigans xD. but then again the host can be biased and have other improper standards for hosting.

How does it function? When I cick the Thumbs-down sign to vote on kicking a certain player out on the Scoreboard, nothing happens. Is it like the /vote where you need a specific number of people to Thumbs-down that specific person or something?

The team kick function works in beta mode right now, all the players are kicked by moderators who observe the battle. Very soon team kick will work at 100%, our guys are working on it.

Yesterday I was in silence (blue team). We were outnumbered. So I was guarding the roof level, a shaft was guarding the second level, our thunder and other Isida were trying for the flag. Long story short. The shaft was thumbed...evidently whoever thumbed the shaft, was unaware of the shaft function, and probably though it was sitting doing nothing. I was a bit bent out of shape over this, because the shaft had laid at least 15 land mines at both entrance ways. I have been in other games where people have been thumbed who were really trying. Let's not abuse this system, and just randomly thumb people below you just in hopes of them being taken out, so you can get a bigger cut of the battle fund. If this becomes a habit. You might be on the other end of that thumb some day, and eat your own crow! B)

^ I have no problem with the kick vote. It's the abuse factor that's the problem. Their needs to be a rule against repetitive thumbing. In order to thumb, you need to activate the process from your computer. A log can be kept of this process, so that the offenders can be held accountable. I have not and will not thumb anybody, unless I detect a really serious infraction that is detrimental to the team.

They didn't say yet what's the number needed to kick someone.

So I think it'll be pretty hard to get all the players together to kick an honest.

as soon as a clan joins one team you can be sure that all non clan members in that team will be kicked one by one.

 

tanki can't even ban for abuse if they are giving the final decision to the masses.

I just came from Silence. I was at the top of the chart. Everybody below me on the chart was thumbed, except for the last two players who most likely just had entered the battle. I did not thumb anyone. I felt this was unfair to the five people under me on the chart, because we were in the front lines fiercely working together (CTF). I thought the kick vote was supposed to be fully operational today (according to developers news), and was also under the impression that you can't thumb anyone above you on the chart. I didn't thumb the person below me who's score was close to mine...I don't get it!

I mostly use the Shaft. Many times i see thumbsdown from teammembers who's scores are below mine. If you think you're doing a good job for the team, defending or attacking, don't worry. If someone of the team gets annoying, versus another, or versus me; i deal with them personally.
