Update 143 — Team kick by vote is fully operational

Dear players!

 

Our team of developers thanks you for taking part in the testing of "Team kick by vote" function. The system parameters are set successfully. We have decided that from this moment it becomes fully operational. Now you will be able to deal with offenders in team battles yourself! After all, the key to success is the right team.

 

Testing has shown that battles designed for small number of players require special settings which are already used and will be used in future.

 

Thus, for "2 vs 2", "3 vs 3" and "4 vs 4" battles the best solution is not to use team kick by vote. This decision was made because the system's operation threshold is very low, which creates an unwanted possibility of removing honest players from a battle. However, in these battles you will always be able to use "/vote offender's nickname" chat command which sends a complaint manually.

 

In battles of other sizes the voting will lead to immediate removal of the offender. Use "/vote offender's nickname" chat command if you want to send a complaint about an offender to a moderator. If player is often kicked from battles, then eventually he or she will lose the ability to start voting and vote for other players.

This is a really good idea but arnt all the moderators ranks REALLY high so if its for example recruits playing together and two of them are fighting and insulting how will a moderator get to the battle when most moderators are feild marshals??

Hello all :) my 1st post.

so how exactly do you vote for a teammate that`s not putting in any effort that does not have the thumb sign?

or if they do vote for them ?

i`m glad of this new UD as i have noticed that a lot of my TM in silence spend a lot of the time trying to get up high & not actually participating in battles properly

It's a good idea but it still is flawed. Something must be done to prevent the players with the higher scores voting everybody else, so they increase their chances of getting more of the battle fund when the others get kicked. I've been seeing this a lot! The top players vote everybody down, it doesn't guarantee the kicks, but it sure makes the probability higher. You should think of a more effective way to counter this. I think players should only be able to cast a limited amount of votes, maybe proportional to the number of players in battle. And voting abusers should be punished too!

If the player is playing good and his score is almost the same as other team members, then it should not be allowed to vote.
