Is there any work being done on adjusting the rewards for flag and TD games? I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that the current system where 6 hours of hard gameplay results in 0 crystals if your team wins no flags is fair. And a TD game where one side has 800 kills, the other has 799, and the rewards are so incredibly skewed seems unfair as well. Unless its a clan war or something, the game should be rewarding based primarily on score regardless of team, with a bit of a tilt to the "winning" team.

CTF: The aim of the game mode is to capture flags (not get the highest score) this explains why you don't get any crystals if you don't capture any flags.

 

TDM: Usually when I've played a very tight TDM, the crystals distribution is quite equal over both of the teams, winning team obviously with the larger chunk.

then, there is no motivation to drugging hard for last flag. the battle will be less exciting.

joining the winning team if you want crystal, quit the losing team if you dont want wasting time

Thanks for your replies. I know from my perspective as a defender, i can play a really tough game, the other team could drug up to get a single flag. I can play my heart out, but if the rest of my team cant manage to get 1 flag, then thats it, 0 crystals will be rewarded, no matter how long and hard i play. I understand the point of a flag game is to get flags, but the point of the game in general is quality play. I don't see any reason for the rewards to be so so heavily skewed. I mean come on, not 1 crystal, thats a bit harsh.

Agreed. But then again, I'm back to my drugging days. Lately I've been low on drugs since every time I get a batch of new ones, they're used up on the next 2 or 3 days because I use them to defend against last-moment druggers. But now I've got a full set, Mines, Heal Kits and all. These last moment druggers in CTF kind of force you to drug. Lol. JamesM10 does hold a good point however.

Muffin_Man, u need to looka 4 zee mighty battel wiv lots of attackers.

 

If u r a top defender guy, attackers will plonk a flag in front of your tank for u 2 capture so you score lotta points. I give zee plonka flag 2 u.

 

Together our team wins mighty big heap crystal. ^_^
