Because the rebalance was done and the prices were changed. There won't be another rebalance anytime soon.

Well, you have to give them credit for placing the price like that. 8% Critical hit. I'm not sure about you, but I don't want everyone having an 8% chance each time to deal 200+ damage- not to mention the fact that the Critical hit can have a go 2x in a row- I'm talking about 5% by the way. Who knows what kind of streak an 8% can go on?

Mmm, I think that it shouldn't be made any cheaper... Personally, it's my least favourite weapon in the game - at least Freeze doesn't give you a 'chance' whether you get destroyed or not, even if its freezing effect is really annoying :P

You still have a long way to go to start thinking about M3 weapons. You should be focusing on M1's at the moment, which in my opinion, aren't that expensive.
