Automat-X.png

Known as the Steyr AUG IRL. The Automat-X is a very versatile weapon, performing well at all ranges, short, medium, and long. This weapon has characteristics of both an Assault Rifle, and a LMG. One unique feature of this weapon is that it has 42 rounds in each magazine.

Damage: 4/10

Accuracy: 4/10

Rate of Fire: 6/10

Mobility: 5/10

Range: 3/10

Don't be fooled by the stats on this weapon. The Automat-X has really good range. It can hit enemies from almost across the map, and can take them down with ease from those distances. The Automat-X has really good iron sights, and low recoil. However, the reload speed on this weapon is slower than most weapons, and you might be finding yourself reloading at the wrong moment.

Attachments

Red dot: There is no need for an alternate sight for the Automat-X. Thanks to the great iron sights on this weapon, the need for a sight on the Automat-X is lessened. Keep in mind if you do put the red dot sight on this weapon, you will lose that long range advantage, as the red dot is bigger than the iron sights.

Holo sight: See red dot. Except for the loss of the long range advantage.

Grip: The Automat-X has low recoil, but applying a grip will eliminate almost all recoil, making it easier to hit enemies and have faster mobility.

Flash hider: The muzzle flash is not an issue with the Automat-X. But if you do equip it, your crosshairs will become tighter, and lowers bullet spread.

ACOG: You do get a clearer reticle over your target and the recoil is nonexistant, but there is no need for an alternate sight on the Automat-X.

Thermal scope: Recoil is noticable and you will have less field of vision. Good for highlighting enemies, but this attachment is skippable for the Automat-X.

Extended magazine: An amazing choice for the Automat-X. This gives you a whopping 63 rounds in each magazine, allowing you to continue shooting for long periods of time, taking on many enemies. Spray and pray.

FMJ: Adding 10% extra damage to the Automat-X results in kills being faster. This will also cancel out head shot protection from Armor users. If damage is a factor, then apply this to your weapon.

Skills and Equipment

Skills

Stealth: This allows you to hear enemy footsteps easier, giving you the element of surprise. Can be a great choice.

Gun expert: This fastens your reload time for the Automat-X. The reload speed on the Automat-X is kind of slow. If you don't like slow reloads, or you don't have extended magaines, gun expert can be the choice for you.

Athlete: A good choice for being on the move. This allows you to cover maps quickly, allowing you to find enemies faster. This perk will keep your opponents guessing.

Anatomical Scientist: This skill can serve you well in most cases. Faster regeneration means longer time for your opponents to take you down.

Field Specialist: Having this skill will lessen the requirement for a killstreak by 2. That means 1 kill for Satellite Scan, 3 kills for Airstrike, 5 for turret, etc...

Equipment

Shield: Grenade protection will serve you well, as grenades are deadly when one lands near you.

Stabilizer: This allows you to move faster while in iron sight. This can be useful for peeking out of walls while aiming down the sight, useful for long range engagements.

Ammo belt: Since the Automat-X has 300 ammo capacity, there is less need for this equipment.

Armor: Giving you 35% extra health and protecting against headshots, this is a good choice. For the people who rush in towards the enemy, this will give you longer survival time.

Camouflage: Great for the stealthy. You will not appear on the enemies' radar, nor be targeted by those annoying helos.

Pros/Cons

+ Great for all ranges

+ Low recoil

+ Good damage

- Slightly slow reload

My attachments

FMJ and Grip

Armor Elite and Athlete Elite

Secondary: Roar 3000 and Extended magazines

The perfect attachments that suit my play style for the Automat-X. Very deadly setup I use. The Roar 3000 is very useful in very sticky situations where you have to reload and then an enemy appears in front of you.

Feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
