Update 148 — "Gold box" modification

Please reduce the time for notification of gold box to 10 seconds before dropping.

By popular demand we’ve corrected the situation with tankers who disturb other players.

 

Now gold boxes appear at any point where usual crystal boxes do (previously there were from 1 to 3 drop zones). Gold boxes are dropped as often as they did before the update.

 

About a minute before gold box appears you will see a notification on your screen. After that everything will depend only on your skill and luck!

This will be helpful especially to shaft users I think, as they usually have no idea when gold is dropping, or no ability to be close to where crystals drop (on certain maps)

Even though most think it may be a good idea, I agree that it takes the thrill of having a gold box appear as a surprise. I have been fortunate enough to have collected 3 gold boxes since I started playing about a month ago. It has only been possible because of moving around so much which I think makes the game more interesting and not expecting to wait around for it.

it's ok i like the idea but there will be a lot of golden box hunters and they will wait for the golden box so they will not play fair any more specially on the friendly fire maps . you would better told us where the golden box is dropped tan when is dropped . i hope there will out be any of you angry on me but tis my opinion .

Sorry, but I don't see the point. The good old gold that fell at 700 was removed because around 680 or so crystals everyone would begin drugging, stop playing the game, and fight under where it fell. Now with the new gold notification, we have basically the same thing. Each team, say in Iran, will go fight each other over their crystal drop points and quit playing the game when they see the announcement. What has been accomplished? This will just create even more crystal campers that get in a battle and leave immediately after gold falls. Usually, I get gold by playing the game and just keeping an eye out, which worked rather well. Now drugging mammoths will know when the gold falls, go to a crystal point, and make sure noone else has a chance to get it.

I agree totally with this person and would like the developers to think about these reasons for withdrawing update 148. Also remember that because of this, the light tanks such as wasp, hornet, and hunter will lose all speed advantage, in the rush to the gold, when it suddenly falls, and the huge bonus from double power and repair kit will cause titans and mammoths to be the only ones with any real chance of surviving until it falls. I hope this input helps.

More Gold falling is good, but that means more people will camp for the gold. Oh well. But what really stinks is the prior announcement before it falls. What were they thinking? Now people will just join battles with mammoth and isida and freeze, wait for the announcement, and then drug and camp on the crystal drop points, ruining gameplay and making gold box distribution unfair. Thanks to this update, I will probably never get another gold.

WOW! But This Will Be Unfair , Because Each Side Of the Map Has Its own Crystals Drops, Thats mean If It dropped in 1 side,It will be unfair To The Other Team. For Example Map (Farm).

By being unfair to both side, the new locations will be fair.
