If you must do this, then compact the Battle Rank requirements. Don't let Lietenants play with Generalissimos for example. Their M3 equipment are too much for us. Furthermore, WO's won't be able to compete with higher Ranks either.

 

The notification makes it boring. I like it how you suddenly see: ??? has taken Gold Box, or if you suddenly see a Gold Box just lying there.

If you think too greedy to get silver box and lot of gold box how u expect tanki online site will continue without being funded? if no one is gona pay then how this site is gona stay?

this really sucks because now a gold box could spawn in another teams area like in the map silence. Then it's almost impossible to get it. it seems like you screwed up the game again just like the rebalance in 2012 :angry:

A very bad idea. Now we are back to the situation we had when it could be predicted when gold boxes would fall; the battle in capture the flag games halts, tanks gather around the fall spots, mammoths win, I even saw teams loose captured flags, because the flag carrier parked in the drop zone.

Improve tanki by changing things to the better by getting new ideas. You change and you change back the same and the same features. It makes players and customers frustrated and uncertain about the future. Don't mess with key features. You still frustrate me with the fiasco re-balance so I will never pay you again. It will cost you.

Now the excitement and surprise is gone; and huge tanks again fights for gold boxes and gets them, and CTF battles are disturbed. You effectively stopped players with not so strong tanks from getting these boxes now.

The notification is not meant to be discreet, but to be easily visible to all players.

Wiki, your argument fails, again. The fact that you haven't seen 2 golds at Sergeant doesn't mean that can't happen, it means you were just unlucky. The gold system is not connected in any way with the ranks, only with the fund. It's programmed to drop at RANDOM fund, no matter of the battle, ranks, maps, or if it's raining or not in your town. This is the meaning of RANDOM. Please understand it.

 

 

Now the excitement and surprise is gone; and huge tanks again fights for gold boxes and gets them, and CTF battles are disturbed. You effectively stopped players with not so strong tanks from getting these boxes now.

So you're saying it was better to have some people that, during the whole battle, stay in the gold spots and do nothing? Because that was the situation when the gold was random and there was no notification about it (before this 148 update)

With this update, we're hoping that sabotagers will be less and those Mammoths that were staying there during the whole game, now will stay only during this 1 minute, from the notification, to the falling of the gold.

Damn i hate this update. Now everyone will know when gold box fall. The stronger players will use drugs and kill everyone and take gold boxes. :angry: This update is benefitial for only strong players earlier weak players had chance of getting gold box but now all gold boxes will fall in stronger player's pockets. :mellow: HATTS OFF to developers of game for taking suggestions of players for granted and not even think about what will be the consequences. You think shaft will be able to get gold boxes. But when others will know about gold boxes do they let shafters take away gold boxes..lol THIS UPDATE SHOULD BE REMOVED ASAP !!

I understand that, I agree that gold boxes should fall at random places but notification should not occur. so mammoth players wont have any idea about when and where gold box will fall and they will concentrate more on game rather than crystals. Also this will remove gathering of tanks in fall spots...

So funny to see that so many players hate every change, big or small. I'm on your side. People will now stop waiting the whole battle, and not just the Mammoths will not take every gold, they're big and strong, but even on nitro, you're not very fast. With a small, fast tank, you might simply jump on them, or with some luck get bugged when driving into his tank and putted on top of it which will make you take the gold.

(That last thing happened to me, I was first but a guy bugged on top of my tank :()

I have never seen that before, and I play tanki every day, also if they did sit in the gold drop zones they were almost immediately shafted because of the drop zones almost always being in the middle and NEVER having good protection from more than) 1 direction. even if it is only one minute it can destroy the entire teams offense and defense in CTF battles. Think, what are mammoth used for in large maps CTF battles, defending, sniping, and providing cover to the wasps and hornets and nitro boosted hunters and Vikings blitzing the flag,(no matter how strong your tank is they will keep respawning if you don't get out) and the teams defense suddenly abandons their snipe points because they think their strong tank can last longest and not be pushed. How many flags can 2 nitro hornets take in a minute? please understand that the people who use hornets to win CTF might decide only to use mammoth because of this and if a team cant attack eventually it loses. how we had it before notification and AFTER 700 battlefund is good and works for all types of tanks, and the distraction is 10 seconds or less rather than one minute.
