1. It may get you the most crystals.

When you think of shaft, you think of sniper. Sniper's usually sit in one place and snipe at tanks far away. Sometimes, snipers shoot at the tanks trying to get crystals, yes? When you think of shaft, you don't really think of it collecting crystals do you? Well, did you know that shaft is actually one of the better tanks to collect crystals in a team battle. If you chose a spot where crystals fall, but where the enemy team almost never goes, then you can both be shooting enemy tanks and, getting crystals, because they fall on you. In this way, by the end of the battle, you would be in a good place from killing enemy tanks so you would receive many crystals from the found, and you would have collected a lot by them falling on you.

I think that that was just an example picture he took; there are actually some really good and safe places to sit where you can snipe and collect.

Just get a Wasp, and you can zoom from drop spot, to drop spot.

But a Shaft is just to slow for farming, choose a turret with fast rotation speed to quickly look around for blue boxes.

You are right that a strong Shaft can collect many crystals if he is strong willed enough!

 

But your position in Iran is extremely dangerous to your tank! :(

 

You cannot focus on the whole field in front of you at once, and these are where major skirmishes take place!

You are extremely prone to attack from all types of weapons, and one Shaft cannot easily stop them all.

You are at risk from behind, to the sides, and even in front of you!

You would be much better off standing in the open desert with proper desert paint to camoflage!

Your sniping spot you've chosen is almost suicidal, for what few 10 boxes fall upon you!
