this guy deserves to be in hall of fame, no doubt. and hes proven it in competition. srry its in russian :(

Thanks for the individual aspect, but this thread is not actually a nomination for hall of fame. What I was hopping to achieve here was more along the lines of what you as an individual feel are ethical traits that attribute themselves to skill in a team. I gave one example of handing the flag off to fellow teammates, who offer cover so that one can make it back to the base. These are teammates who sacrifice themselves during CTF, and I think it only fair they should be handed the flag when the team is well enough ahead. You may know another set of circumstances that attribute themselves to team spirit, in an ethical manner. In all, skill is more than ability. And we all possess that potential to become skilled team players, rather than out for ourselves. So this is not to choose an individual for the hall of fame, but to give each Tanki player the right to be that individual, just by their expressed definitions.

I was in kungar last week, and just when i got back to the base i was blown up by a rail gun. When i cane back to life again, one of my teammates higher rank than me was holding the flag and gave it back to me. I did not expect that it was the first time. I have been doing the same for others ever since that time. The game seem more fun when I do that.

The assist - help others get the flag even if it means you will get less bonus

The selfless act - if your frozen solid releasing the flag so another player on your team can capture it

The considerate player - share out dropped crystals between two players running to get there first without a fight

The fair player - follow a flag bearer in case they die on the way back, if they do hold it until they return so they can cap ( only in less aggressive battles full on drug wars you will die waiting)

The fair player 2 - if you do die on the way back not begrudging one of you team capping the flag even if you did just have to drug and first aid it away from the opposition

The player with ethics - on small maps not pressing home the advantage when the other team are one tank down ( although it does seem not to be reciprocal with many players who then drug when you are down then laugh at you)

The selfless act 2 - giving the flag to someone who defends the base while you run off to get the glory, often they spend just as much on supplies as you do and get less return or recognition for what they do

The abuse of power - not hitting the kick button just because someone is low ranked but fighting their hardest, how else will they gain experience in bone crushing battles

To drug or not to drug - drugging is not required all the time, even in closely fought battles you can cap without drugs

The team player - even the best of the best players could not win a battle single handedly to make several players get flags and look good you need a team, never forget that when your top and wizzing about crystal taking, you will get the lions share of battle fund at the end leave some for others to get who are helping you win

Play to have fun and the rewards will come and you wont even notice

my mistake sir :), well nominations aside, i find this to be a very important thread for everyone. These are some 'skills' imo, skillful players exhibit in battle;

1. Crediting a flag capture to a teammate for his/her assistance.

2. Refraining from a flag capture when the other team is lacking in players.

3. Remaining neutral, when a single opponent uses supplies in a foolish manner. i.e preventing a 'drug war'.

4. Remaining neutral, when an inferior ranked/equipped player is using supplies.

Over the years I have played with few skilled players who have left an impression on me.The few players that I consider skilled I can count on my hand (true team players). At this point lets separate shooting your turret great and put in place how you contribute. It's great that you can perform with your tank but what about how you contribute. A true skilled player will generate a synergy which allows each person to maximize their strength and minimize their weakness. It is important to realize that every person has a complimentary skill or is trying to find this complimentary skill to bring or would love to bring to the table. The grouping of the different levels of rank is a good thing some may view this as a bad thing (follow/lead). We all have started out in a basic tank, a basic map and gather experience along the way. The interaction between different levels of rank can promote positive or negative experiences your an example to everyone around you like it or not. This process that every player goes through has a lot to do with the success of a game on and off the field. I want to make it clear that I am not seeking to be in the Hall of Fame nor do I claim to be perfect. I find that this is a good place to make this point. Take care and be good to one another! :)

Some very impressive points so far... :)...Tanki team spirit is still alive and well...P.S. The "quote marks"? I'm use to being very expressive in making notes for people. However, If I have to write officially, I stick to the rule of grammar... :D
