Q: AlternativaEditor lags?

A: This happens when you are looking at too big a part of the map, and are having to display many props, it can be solved by always being zoomed in, or changing the the physical model of each prop ("View" "Collision geometry" (Ctrl+2).

Q: Sprite disappears?

A: This happens when you have snapping disabled, and have moved a sprite, it sometime makes it look like the sprite is underneath the grid, and it can be fixed by using click+drag+V with the sprite selected, and snapping disabled.

Q: Undo/Redo glitch's?

A: The Undo/Redo buttons will undo/redo the last action you performed, but not on the tile you originally performed it, on the tile(s) which you have selected.

Guidelines for making maps

Use only V1 props, old Props or 3rd props(Crash and Gallery), do not mix them.

Mix tile props, don’t repeatedly use the same tile prop.

Don’t overlap props (you can overlap spawn points and flags but nothing else).

Try not to have too many open spaces.

Make sure that both sides are equal, and one side doesn't have a huge advantage against the other.

Try and not make your map symmetrical.

Make sure the flag positions are easily known.

Place spawn points on the ground.

Place bonus drops 2-3 above the ground. Try and keep your map under 2.8 MB (2867.2 KB), which is a good guideline for size, and also the actual limit for maps.

Its Still not finished .. there's a bit more to do

First of all, I have no problem with you creating a guide for AE.

But...

If you are going to, dont just copy what I did, remove parts, and add a few sentences, that is called plagiarism.

Asking me before taking, and using my work would be nice aswell.

My guide may be outdated, but most of it still is true, and anything else I could have easily added(well, since its locked, I would have to create a new topic, or get a mod to edit it).

Below is what you have changed, in red is what is new, and the green you have moved(the Q & A at the top is the same as mine):

I re-opened the old guide so @cheese3000 can update it if he wants to.

As noticed by and by @cheese3000, this guide is already existing and just need to be updated, no reasons to create a whole new topic that is quite completely identic to the previous one.
