Will Isida protection paint make enemy Isida heal less too?

If Im using Electra paint (30% Isida protection) Will the isida that is attacking me recover 30% less health, while also doing 30% less damage? Or will he only do less damage, but heal the same?

Because if yes, then Isida protection paints are technically twice as effective as other paints. Am I correct?

So if I 1v1 another Isida, with the same Hull, same modifications, but I'm using Electra (30% protection), and he has no isida protection, and we start shooting each other at the same time, I should come out 60% ahead?

I just did some testing and it definately seemed like the enemy isida was healing WAY less. I tested with the Zebra paint. (20%) My opponent was using M2 Isida, and I was using M2 isida as well. I 1v1'd him multiple times, and when we shoot each other, my health actually goes up. Rapidly.

So you're 100% sure the opponent heals the exact same amount, despite my Isida protection?

My bad I misunderstood the question sorry.

So, the damage is reduced as well as its self healing ability, since it depends on the effective amount of damages and not on the theorical damage.

So for example if you have double shield he will self-heal half of the normal hitpoints, because it will be doing you half damage.

So I was right then. The Isida is severely weakened when fighting anti-isida paints, moreso than other weapons. Due to the fact that the Isida's special ability is hindered 30% on top of dealing 30% less damage. Its a double-whammy. Other protective paints have less of a use because their special abilities remain the same. Smoky still crits 100% despite protective paint. Thunder still gets splash damage. Railgun still shoots through enemies. Freeze still freezes the enemy. Firebird still burns, and Rico still bounces. But the freeze still freezes 100%, while the Isida only self-heals 70% vs Electra.

Using Isida protective paint benefits your entire team, because any Isida who is attacking you heals themselves less. If its 2vs2, A freeze + isida vs another freeze + isida, team A's isida has freeze protection, and team B's Isida has Isida protection, with identical modifications, and the same hulls, team B should win, because the Isida paint is causing the enemy Isida to heal 30% less while ALSO dealing 30% less damage.

So if in your tanki career, you come across the same amount of Isida's as you do Freezes, Isida paint protection will be more beneficial.
