Wow. 50 Feet? You sir, have one heck of a Vacuum cleaner. Anyways, it has the higher DPS in the M0-M1 Stages. When Firebird reaches M2-M3, it destroys Freeze in DPS. Furthermore, the Burn effect takes effect as soon as the Firebird starts inflicting damage to the Enemy. Then you have to remember the Burn effect. So if you are seeking damage-wise, Firebird's the choice.

It's 1 or 2 meters, actually. And that does makes a huge difference if you're a skilled Freeze user; who cares about the burn effect of Firebirds when they can't even touch me?

I do?

Firebirds simply can't hit me because I snipe them down, and if I'm in their range, I take cover before they start burning,

and than: Booh, timing, drugged power --> Firebird dead.

Fair enough, Rail's almost as good as Freeze :P Though the point I was making was that I can get the the 'Firebird dead' step without any drugs - Firebird's range is less, and has less ammo. 'Nuff said.

In oversized maps even better, because Freeze simply can't hit them.

Let's not start a Freeze vs. Railgun debate, you can't compare the two since they're completely different types of weapons. Though both are great in different situations, I agree :)

(EDIT) But Freeze wins anyway ;)

But... It's easier to get more kills faster with a Freeze, especially when drugged, so more experience at a quicker rate :P And it's more of a team weapon!

But.... Its easier to get better D/L with rail :P

Like there is anyone who cares about D/L. You need score, if you die a lot, you still have score..

I really don't care about D/L, just wanna have fun.

I don't think so -.-

^Zero, exactly why a Freeze is better. In TDMs, Freezes can freeze enemies and get points when other destroy them, and in CTFs, Freezes are invaluable defenders and pretty good attackers, too... Anyway, stop this debate, its not balanced as they're different types of weapons altogether! :P

You are right, i have fun with Freeze too, and a skilled M0 freeze is more helpfull to a generalissimo team than a M2 rail.

The Wasp+Freeze in the enemy team was the most annoying out of the 4 m3 mammoth/smokies -.-

You're also right in your arguments for Rail, it's a classic weapon that only the best players can master. I'd argue that it requires the most skill out of all the weapons to master. Especially because if you mess up a shot and there's no cover to escape behind, it's really embarassing standing there and getting destroyed :D
