I do like the way you all are answering questions :). I did however read some disturbing information and I will try to explain using an example.

Of course you won't be able to upgrade Mary's protections to 50%. The max level of 50% will work only for advanced paints with protections of more than 30%. Generally you won't be able to increase the protection by more than 2 times. So Mary can become 28% Freeze, 10% Twins, 10% Smoky. Most likely the numbers will change closer to the release, but generally it will be something like that.

I'm a happy Wasp user and because of that I purchased Prodigy. So with these micro upgrades I can possibly increase my railgun protection with about 8.7% to about 50%. If my opponent is able to increase his railgun damage with, lets say 20%, wouldn't that create a imbalance?

 

Another thing is people using Acid/ Champion paints, won't these paints become way to overpowered after micro upgrades?

Special paints most probably won't be microupgradable.

According to Semyon's post, if you have 8.7% against Railgun, you can have up to 17.4% against Railgun.

I WOULD JUST LIKE TO CONGRATULATE TANKI ON TRICKING ALL THESE NAIVE PLAYERS TO TRULY BELIEVE THEY ARE IMPROVING GAMEPLAY. HOWEVER, THIS WILL ONLY INCREASE THE GAME'S REVENUE, AS PLAYERS WILL BUY CRYSTALS FOR MICRO-UPGRADES TOO, NOT JUST FOR M1, M2 OR M3 UPGRADES. Dude, first of all they said they would cost little and second i dont appreciate you calling the entire gaming community here naive and implying we are children. Get your facts right and dont act like you are above us all and know something that we dont. We realize what tanki is doing and has been doing since the game came out. You have a lot to learn, firstly that excessive caps isn't tolerated here. Nor do any of us appreciate a post that undermines basically this entire forum...your point can be argued by others but i disagree and think that microupgrades are long due and will benefit "non-buyers" by allowing them to spend less for mini-grade stuff instead of another whole m-grade. Great job Tanki! Keep the updates coming!

 

One question though, Will there be microupgrades that benedit each other? Such as on a wasp-smoky the fire rate of the smoky goes up and the knockback of the wasp goes down? As seperate upgrades of course, but where one upgrade helps another upgrade to function better. If not I think this would be a great addition to the micro-upgrades update. Thanks again!

Now, I'm pretty certain (like, 95%) that Semyon said earlier that those characteristics will be able to be micro-upgraded! Great for Freeze users! I can't wait to upgrade my Freeze m1 freeze effect!

Yes, there will be microupgrades like this. If a gun has got some unique feature like sniping mode in case of Shaft, you will be able to microupgrade it.

Perhaps I'll publish a list of all the micro-upgrades here just before the release.
