the exact cost is no yet known but the preview video showed 2 crystals but obviously that will change so could be anything from 100, 200, + 0r 500, 1000. depending on what the devs decide & it will be seen in the part when your buying your current UG so I gather it will have an additional part allowing you to UG the chosen turret. But I cant be sure of that just guess work by me :)

No, the crystals will increases as you buy more upgrade. But at least the full upgrade becomes cheaper. And remember, only speculation at the moment as you said ;) and still have to be test first. Price might alter after the testing phase.

At the moment Tanki Online team is actively working on a much-anticipated feature of micro-upgrades.

 

Not everyone understands what it is and why it is needed. So let’s try to dispel the myths that are beginning to emerge around it.

 

Every weapon in the game has got a lot of different characteristics which you can upgrade by purchasing new modifications. Many players would like to improve certain characteristics of weapons and do it more often than it’s currently possible. The main idea of micro-upgrades is to make it possible.

 

Let’s take Smoky as an example. If a player wants to improve its maximum damage, he or she will be able to do this in several steps using micro-upgrades to the level of the next modification.

In the same way it will be possible to improve other characteristics such as turret’s rotation speed, rate of fire and so on.

 

Each micro-upgrade will cost a small amount of crystals and a period of time during which the upgraded weapon will not be available. At the same time you will be able to do everything instantly for an extra sum of crystals.

 

It is possible that micro-upgrade may not work. In this case crystals you’ve spent or a part of them may be given back to you in the form of supplies. There is also a chance to improve a characteristic by two steps in one micro-upgrade.

 

You will be able to upgrade not only M0, M1 and M2 weapons. After all the micro-upgrades an M3 can become a kind of M4. Paints will also be upgradable to a certain extent.

 

Your opponents won’t see that your weapons were upgraded as micro-upgrades don’t change the appearance of your tank.

 

Finally, there will be an ability to switch off micro upgrades in no-supplies battles.

For each micro-upgrade that you buy, do you buy limited amount of micro-upgrade at certain level of rank or is it possible that you buy as much at one rank that a weapon are almost as poweful as the next full upgrade?

For example, I have m2 smokey which is unlocked at Colonel, is it possible that I can buy most of the micro-upgrade which has almost same power as m3 at Brigadier? Or do I buy limit amount of micro-upgrade at this rank and only able to buy more at the next rank?

It is not 100% confirmed yet but most likely you will be able to fully micro-upgrade ai item as soon as you purchase it in Garage.

I have idea but I think that all peoples think about this.I think that with micro-upgrades can update and crystal boxes.Now is "Gold box" in it is 1000 crystals but can be and "Silver box" with 600-700 crystals and "Bronze box" with 500 crystals.I think that it's good idea but it won't be implemented!

SV.ENS is the name of the local soccerclub we play for :P There are 5 of them, SV.ENS.TOM (friend, same rank as I am), SV.ENS.DION (friend, First Lieutenant), SV.ENS.JORN (my brother, warrant 1, he plays on other account called Heibrink at rank Major), SV.ENS.SJORS (my other brother, low rank because he just started his own account, actually he is 8 years old but is very handy with z and x buttons for his age :P)

I totally agree with this; maybe a rather uncommon "silver box" with 500 crystals and then a more commonly appearing "bronze box" at maybe 50 crystals. Sorry this isn't on topic, but this idea was suggested here already.
