Semyon, you mentioned that there is a chance that the micro upgrade "may not work", could you tell me more about this pls?

When you micro-upgrade an item there are several possibilites: succesful upgrade, refund of a part of your crystals, compensation in the forum of supples, two micro-upgrades for the price of one and the thing you mentioned. The chance of that is extremely small on first stages, then it gets bigger but not to much. It's all made to make micro-upgrades more affordable. Otherwise it would be about 10-15 times more expensive to upgrade.

Buyers get the advantage, so tanki is back to its old self, the re balance has no point anymore :mellow:

Buyers don't get any new advantages. You can buy crystals and micro-upgrade or you can play more, earn crystals and micro-upgrade.

If you choose not to use them, others Will be OP on you.

This update just make you pay more to get same result.

Micro-upgrades take some time to apply, so it won't be possible to get huge difference between those who use it and those who don't. It takes a looot of time and effort to fully micro-upgrade an item, it's long and interesting process.

This makes the game more interesting because now there is a huge pause between M2 and M3 for example, micro-upgrades will solve it, you will be able to steadily upgrade it. Specific characteristics of it.

You don't need to be a buyer to micro-upgrade something, it is quite affordable.

And let's not forget about skills, not everything is measured in stats.

There won't be a refund. As for the release date, we can't tell exactly. But it's coming to end, stay tuned.

Yeah, the devs are now finishing it and cleaning all the bugs. So expect it SOON. (really soon I mean XD)

As said hundreds of times; Micro upgrades won't be superb expensive, and the micro upgrade won't instantly work.

It takes effort aswell.

No, If you have micro-upgraded a M0 to (almost) M1, It doesn't mean you'll get an M1 with the power of a M2 if you upgrade your M0 to M1.

All your upgrades will be lost.

No. If you want to micro-upgrade m0 Isida, then you can upgrade the damage to be 75% of what the m0-m1. So, m0 Isida is 30 damage against others. m1 Isida is 36 damage. 36-30=6. So, 75% of 6= 4.5 .....therefore, you can micro-upgrade m0 Isida to have 34.5 damage against other non-teammates. For m1 Isida micro-upgrade it's the same formula. You can micro-upgrade m1 Isida to have 40.5 damage against others. You can micro-upgrade m2 Isida to have 48 damage against others. This information was given in the latest video. However, I have no clue how much you can micro-upgrade m3 Isida, I guess you'll have to stay tuned!

At the moment Tanki Online team is actively working on a much-anticipated feature of micro-upgrades.

 

Not everyone understands what it is and why it is needed. So let’s try to dispel the myths that are beginning to emerge around it.

 

Every weapon in the game has got a lot of different characteristics which you can upgrade by purchasing new modifications. Many players would like to improve certain characteristics of weapons and do it more often than it’s currently possible. The main idea of micro-upgrades is to make it possible.

 

Let’s take Smoky as an example. If a player wants to improve its maximum damage, he or she will be able to do this in several steps using micro-upgrades to the level of the next modification.

In the same way it will be possible to improve other characteristics such as turret’s rotation speed, rate of fire and so on.

 

Each micro-upgrade will cost a small amount of crystals and a period of time during which the upgraded weapon will not be available. At the same time you will be able to do everything instantly for an extra sum of crystals.

 

It is possible that micro-upgrade may not work. In this case crystals you’ve spent or a part of them may be given back to you in the form of supplies. There is also a chance to improve a characteristic by two steps in one micro-upgrade.

 

You will be able to upgrade not only M0, M1 and M2 weapons. After all the micro-upgrades an M3 can become a kind of M4. Paints will also be upgradable to a certain extent.

 

Your opponents won’t see that your weapons were upgraded as micro-upgrades don’t change the appearance of your tank.

 

Finally, there will be an ability to switch off micro upgrades in no-supplies battles.
