Micro-upgrades in progress

Yep, it gets locked unless you speed up the upgrade by paying a fee of crystals.

Which is about 3-8 times more than your micro-upgrade. In my opinion, it's not worth it to pay those crystals unless in need of it.

Your weapon gets locked for the period of micro-upgrading. You will need to use another one.

And what about clanwars? Maybe someone has upgraded something on every weapon , then he cant compete...

No, he can't. Clans will have to tell their members not to have their weapon being micro-upgraded when it's a battle. Members and leaders will have to know when the battles are so they can micro-upgrade before or after them and still play.

I know that there is going to be a option to turn of MU in NS battles. But will there be an option to turn off MU in regular battles?

Also, when upgrading MU and there is the wait time, are you still allowed to use the weapon?

Most likely you will be able to switch the MUs of only in no supplies battles.

You can't use your weapon while it's micro-upgraded. So you will need to plan your time (you don't need to be logged in all the time while the MU is being installed) or use another weapon while your main one is being upgraded.

Pages back I have answered a question to which I have not received an explanation yet, so let me ask again...

I'm a happy Wasp user and because of that I purchased Prodigy. So with these micro upgrades I can possibly increase my railgun protection with about 8.7% to about 50%. If my opponent is able to increase his railgun damage with, lets say 20%, wouldn't that create a imbalance?

In other words... will it be possible for railgun to increase it's damage by more % than I can upgrade my prodigy since 50% seems the maximum for paints? If so, don't you think wasp will be taken out of competition?

No, because the gun-hull ratio would still be almost equal. Paints are add ons. When the Railgun is upgraded by 20%, all other hulls could be upgraded around 20%, so the Prodigi damage is almost the same. Upgrading paints increases resistance, it is not part of the damage ratio.

Yay, Micro-upgrades. Something to look forward to :). I dearly enjoy this game now and onwards. And Nice touch with the "Micro-upgrade" system... Russian Roulette anyone? :)

Interesting point you have there! It makes sense as well :)

However, I would love to have a confirmation from Tanki that there aren't any shifts in balance IF everything is maxed out to the max...

The title of this topic is now: Micro-upgrades in progress

Does that mean it is ready (or almost ready) to be released into the main game?

On their main page it was recently moved from in progress to soon so I would guess that it's almost ready. Just my opinion though.
