Micro-upgrades in progress

I agree with you too, but there is a certain limit that should be set. Most games are like what you've said above, but some games favor Buyers completely and don't care about the Non-buyers. No Non-buyers = No more fun to the game. There's going to be Drugs everywhere lol. In other games it's because they have a secondary Currency, but Tanki only has one. If they turn it in favor of Buyers, then Non-buyers will be driven away.---------------------------And for the 10th time I've mentioned it. . .I'd be perfectly fine with this update if they'd have another Refund. Heck, I think at a certain rank, take Major for example, they should give you one chance and give you the option to refund. Oh well.

I dont think there should be mass refunds... only the ability to sell back your purchased gear to the store, for 50% of what you paid. It shouldnt be the full amount, because then people will take advantage of buying and selling every single item. There has to be some toll taken on the player. 50% would be nice. Purchase an M1 upgrade for 35k, dont like it? 18k back in your bank and the taste of a new weapon.

I agree with you as well, it should be some sort of limit on how much of an advantage buyers can obtain. I see a 30-40% advantage for a buyer, as fair. For a big time buyer, no more than 50-60% of an advantage. I used to play a game called Rakion. I was level 45 and had spent 6 months playing and mastering my skills as a ninja class. The game was PvP based, with a cash shop and the ability to enchant armors and weapons. You could also purchase EXTRA skill points to make your character significantly faster, and much higher damage attacks. At level 45, I was able to beat lvl 99's with maxed out enchants who had played for 3-4 years, and invested well over 1,000 dollars into the game. I had spent a mere 50 dollars for a sword and a few pieces of armor. I took much pride in beating the players who had a serious advantage over me and enjoyed destroying them. So if Tanki is mastered entirely, by ones with a disadvantage, then they can rise above and destroy those with far more money and time invested. Though it may require a certain set up. (A freeze player who hides and catches the enemy off guard from behind) (An expert railgun, smoky, or thunder user who knows how to PERFECTLY time their shots so as to not be hit by enemy bullets when popping out from behind walls.) (An isida who plays the 'trap door spider' technique, where you hide in a certain spot for an unsuspecting victim (The tunnel in Iran can be used with isida to sneak out, kill someone, and run back into cover, being sure to only 1v1 (where isida is king))

Yes, skeptic means doubt, keeping reserved or not convinced.

Since I understand how marketing works, usually when you buy micro-upgrade altogether would usually cost lot more than stand alone full upgrade, this leaves us tough choice between saving up for full upgrade or buying immediatly to micro-upgrading. Yes, one micro upgrade will cost probably a small fraction of full upgrade depending how many micro upgrades will be available.

There is a rumour though that supposedly, a micro-upgraded item will cost less to reach the next 'M', depending on how many micro-upgrades you have completed. For example if you own M1 Isida, and M2 Isida costs 68000 crystals, if you have micro-upgraded your Isida M1, then Isida M2 will be a discounted amount, depending on how many times you successfully micro-upgraded it.

If anything, this update is not for buyers, it is for people who cannot afford to buy; micro-upgrades are much more manageable and cheap!

Too bad there aren't many people who get it. They just complain and complain, even before they see it.

The good thing about Tanki is that there was only one currency, unlike other games with two currencies, one elite and one for non-buyers. But some of these updates are in favor of buyers then actual non-buying people who play.

I think micro upgrades may be just another expense you must get to enjoy the game, the ones who can afford it and the rest who can't, those who can't should have a venue like limiting game play to use of one supply at a time other than drops, it would reduce the consumption of supplies by 66% or more in battles while encouraging the use of drops. As you get higher in the ranks only the strongest players generally keep active on Tanki and have the weapon/hull combo they need as well as the paints required to be successful. these micro upgrades are an easy extension to their repertoire making the micro upgrades useless against them.

True, but the fact still may be that upgrading the Modification just by itself is much cheaper than buying Micro-upgrades and then upgrading the Full modification. Besides, from the looks of it I don't plan on micro-upgrading anything until they've reached M2. You know, Micro-upgrades disappear once you upgrade the Modification, so if you're a buyer than go ahead, but if you're a Non-buyer, watch how you spend your Crystals.

Maybe Micro-upgrades will cost more for Important stats. Maybe Isida's healing stats will cost Much, much more than maybe its turning speed? Or maybe Freeze's damage/range will cost Much,Much more than it's turning speed?

^ let's wait & see what happen...

Lets discuss it now and say if we like it from first-looks. . .then we can say how we truly feel about it after it releases since it has no exact release date. . . .
