Micro-upgrades in progress

So my question still stands: "When you spend crystals on a micro-upgrade and it doesn't work, is that a glitch, or is it on purpose?"

I think I answered it twice so far.

[3] It doesn't matter what you would want, the whole thing will be random - if the upgrade fails this time (again, this will be a random chance), you will get crystals. If another one fails, you'll get drugs - that's the meaning of random.

Those won't be glitches, but a system. Sometimes it will give you the microupgrade, sometimes it will return you the crystals, sometimes it will give you drugs.

I just don't get the point of having those 'glitches' on purpose.

I think it's meant to bring an element of chance to the upgrade, as the video shows. However, is there the possibility that you could get something better than what you paid for? Since there'll be times when you only get refunded half of your crystals/get paid back in drugs instead of receiving the desired upgrade, I'm guessing there should be a chance of something better than expected happening, too.

(EDIT) I noticed a 'prize' sign in the example video when the upgrade was being processed, maybe this would back up my theory?

The point is that, if we don't have those [stop calling them like that], 'it will be too good to be true' - imagine, for several hundreds crystals (example price), you will be able to get several M4s. That's not right, that's why the thing will be random.

Yes, if you watch the video, you'll understand - there's a chance to get a 'super bonus' - 2 MUs for the price of 1.

I do see their point, but the thing is, it will still be 'too good to be true' for those lucky people for whom it works. A better way to solve the problem would be to make it more expensive--in my opinion.

Well, like the Daily bonus, some lucky guy may get crystals every single day. That doesn't mean the crystal amount given in the bonus should be decreased.

I did watch the video, but without my volume on, because it looked like it was in Russian using my lip-reading skills... And then it turns out that it's been translated to English over the top of the Russian. Thanks for helping me to realise that, now I can actually understand that slidey-thing for the upgrade *facepalm*

M SO CONFUSED!!

Hope when it gets released , we will get a guide ....

xD

alright dude let me break it down for you for example if you are using an m0 gun the affects of the gun you could converted into m1 the inside of the gun changes but the physicality wont change the m0 gun will be more powerful but no one will know because it does not look like the m1. another example if you have an m3 gun you could buy a micro and it will change to a m4 again the physicality wont change but only the affects it will become more STRONGER!!! I believe that if they are going to implement a unnecessary gamble for micro-upgrades, then they should for the larger upgrades too ;)

Imagine getting 2 M3s for the price of one!

Imagine losing 100,000 crystals trying to upgrade that Firebird!

Place your bet, place your bet, no Whammy, no Whammy, stop!

Of course, as Eugene says in the video there will be quite a good chance to get 2 micro-upgrades for one succesful upgrade.
