i hope update 156 will bring the microupgrades it is a good idea imho , if u have lets say M1 weaponry and u are 6 ranks from the M2 upgrade to be available it takes a long time to get there , using microupgrades u get close to the experience of that M2 weapon

Approximately how long until the update? Overall, awesome! Also, about how many crystals will it cost?

The update will most likely come out in summer, no exact date right now. Our guys want to make it as good as possible.

As for the price, it will be a lot smaller that buying next grade of course. Each micro-upgrade of a gun will cost more than the previous one, so basically the price depends on how powerful you want your weapon to be.

Sounds interesting but so did the graphics update and rebalance... We'll just have to find out if it's truly as good as it sounds.

Of course this is another method to increase income but also an upside to the players because we will be able to upgrade our equipment beyond.

Are these upgrades permanent for each M category, or do we need to keep spending crystals to maintain them? In other words, if someone has an M-1 turret and wants to upgrade, and they spend the amount of crystals needed for that upgrade; then that upgrade should not run out like is the case with battle supplies. Is this correct?

 

So then, if the upgrade is permanent for each M category, when someone is ready to purchase an M-2 turret; they can upgrade that as well, if they so choose. Is this correct?

 

So then, by the time someone purchases an M-3 turret and they wish to upgrade it will be as though they almost have an M-4 turret. If this is all correct, it sounds good to me, but if these upgrades are not permanent for each M category, then it will be no different than purchasing battle supplies. And many players, unfortunately will get plowed under (left out).

 

So, my last question. When this is going to be installed, will there be instructions in our garage on how to implement the procedure? - And you might want to give a clearer definition about this statement in your topic post: "Each micro-upgrade will cost a small amount of crystals and a period of time during which the upgraded weapon will not be available. At the same time you will be able to do everything instantly for an extra sum of crystals."

Micro upgrades are permanent. They stay with you as long as you have the turret for example. So if you've upgraded an M1 Smoky, it stays upgraded until you buy an M2 Smoky.

 

You can micro-upgrade any weapon, whether it is M0 M1 M2 or M3.

 

That phrase means that when you purchase a micro-upgrade you don't get it at the same moment. The gun will be unavailable for some time, it's like when you give your car to the service, you can't use it while mecahnics are working with it. On the other hand, you can spend some extra crystals to avoid waiting and get the micro-upgrade instantly.

 

As I said, no exact dates, but most likely the feature will be in the game this summer.

Micro-upgrades are available on every rank.

If I buy micro-upgrades, on say my m2 ricochet, does that mean that when I eventually buy m3 ricochet I will pay a reduced price, i.e. the base price minus 100/75/50% of what I spent on micro-upgrades or will I have to buy m3 ricochet at it's base price no matter how many micro-upgrades I put on my m2?

 

 

2. Are micro-upgrades transferable from m0, m1, m2, and m3? For instance, if I buy, say, +1 second consumption on my firebird m0, will that then mean that when I upgrade my firebird along the way, the +1 second consumption will remain or will I have to buy that +1 second all over again at the next m levels?

 

3. What is the likely price of these upgrades? What things (speed + health on hulls; what things on guns - range, consumption, damage, turn speed, speed of shot, splash, etc?) are confirmed to be upgradable? I am aware that information may not be around right now, but would like such information asap.

1. It is being discussed right now. I'm almost sure that you will pay a reduced price for M3 if you've been micro-upgrading M2 previously.

 

2. Again, it's 99% that micro upgrades will NOT be transferable.

 

3. The price will be much lower than buying next grade of course, it will get higher with each next micro-upgrade but no exact numbers now. As for features that you can upgrade, no exact info at the moment, it will depend on type of gear you upgrade. And of course you will be able to micro-upgrade resists of your paint.

It doesn't matter what your rank is. You can upgrade Rail M2 when you get it.
