Micro-upgrades in progress

Hey Semyov, this problem has been bothering me ever since the Micro-upgrades were first announced. Don't you think the MU will mess up gameplay strategy a bit? I mean I always rely on knowing the stats to know how/when I would kill the enemy. So with no exterior way to know how far of an extent your enemy has Micro-upgraded their military assets, don't you think it'll be a bit confusing and people will be relying on Luck more?

Without Micro-upgrades:

Take a look at this. I know for a fact that a Forester on a M1 Wasp survives one M1 Railgun shot (Rare 1-shots) and Rare M2 shots, and like a Hornet M2 or Viking M1 can survive 2 shots with Tundra on or something. So I always know that a Wasp with no Railgun paint I can just meet with him head-on and slam my spacebar knowing that he'll be dead. I can calculate how many shots I need for each opponent and all with the paints they have on.

I think its a good idea to have no-mu battles

.. Like no-supplies battles. So you have to buy a 'no-MU-battleships' and then they upgrades removed automatic only in that battle, is that a good idea??

With MU:

I won't know the exact percentage of the paint so it will lay some consequences on us Snipers. Furthermore, with my own paint I can still get 1-shotted from M1 Rails even though I have Forester on and I don't know it- not to mention the Micro-upgraded Hulls.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I know I can Micro-upgrade my things too, but it'll be wild out there in the field. So I'll just have to shoot not knowing? I'm interested if there's a specific point for it not showing how much you've Micro-upgraded.

Probally they can add no-one micro update battles who remove your upgrade only in that battle

Yep, you enter No Supply battles where MU are disable.

Hurts? The truth hurts?

What hurts for me is seeing people asking the same already answered questions, every day. I'm just trying to make them think and search before they ask something. Otherwise, for me it's more than easy, copy-paste the same things every day, like a parrot. But what's the point? People still don't know what to do and where to find information themselves. And that's sad.

Ah, I believe a person with an IQ higher than the average tanki player should just quit like me, this game is just a way for us to shoot at 9 yr olds... My suggestion for you pal, is to just quit moderating, the forum at least..

God bless the poor souls.

Firstly there's no way I can know he is 9 years old, the way he writes says he's older.

Secondly, if he's 9, he shouldn't be here; the forum is for 16+. By staying here he confirms he's 16+, and usually 16+ people don't get offended when someone simply tells them to read before asking the same questions.

Thirdly, thanks for the suggestion, but I can't quit moderating simply because I have never started moderating.

Anyway, back to topic, please.

I see your point here. But on the other hand, micro-upgrades add an element of surprise to the game. The game won't be that predictable, yes, but in my opinion it's not bad. The situation when Railgun attacks Wasp wearing some paint gets a lot more interesting now, as each of these three items can be micro-upgraded.

All in all, let's wait for the feature to be released, then we'll see how it goes.

It's bad for you, Players, because you can get excited that someone said testing is tomorrow, and then, tomorrow comes and you get disappointed because there's no testing. You get what I mean?

the was testing yesterday though

I didn't know you had to be 16+ to participate in the forums.. :o

Where does it say that?

what?! there was testing of MU's :o O_O

Nope, there wasn't. I think Semyon will announce that there will be mass testing, just like he announced about mass testing of the friend system.

Hulls~

1. What exactly is the  the Power and Weight? Is Power how easily you can push another Tank, or is it how fast your Tank takes to reach maximum speed?

2. Will weight affect speed?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Turrets~

1. What is the Impact force and penetrating power?

Turrets~

1. What is the Impact force and penetrating power?

Power: acceleration--> the more power your hull has, the faster your hull reaches his max speed. Probably also: the more power, the harder your tank can be pushed by other tanks.

Weight: mass--> this is the variable that decides how easy you flip or how easy it is to make you miss. I think this might also effect your acceleration speed, but I'm not sure.

Impact force: knock back--> the amount of force a turret can push a tank.

Penetrating power: damage dealt by targets behind the targets you're aiming for--> Let's say you're a Railgun. If you hit a target, the targets gets 100% of the damage. If there's someone behind he'll take 50% of the damage. If you upgrade penetrating power you'll be able to upgrade 50% to uuhhmm... 70% or something like that.

Oh I see. Well this gets even more interesting.

For the Impact Force, is it the amount of force exerted on your own tank or enemy tank?

For a turret it would mean the force u exert on other hulls but for hulls, it would be the amount of force exerted on your hull.

I got a question about the price of micro-upgrades.

I got smoky M2, I micro upgrade it full. If I buy smoky to M3 are all the micro-upgrades already counted in the price so I pay less.

Do you mean 'yes' that there was testing on MU yesterday?

I mean yes that they'll announce when the testing will be.

This was said like 20 times, if you've microupgraded your current M, the next one will be cheaper.
