Hi Semyon, I just tested the MU and wanted to see if there is price difference of next upgrade of a weapon. I have fully MU all characteristics of a m2 hulls/turrets, I didn't see the "discount" price for its m3 upgrade? Will price difference be shown when MU an item? If not, how would I know how much the next upgrade has been "discounted" through MU? Thanks

In the MU screen it will show a discount if you have reached "Gold" on a spec (fully microupgraded that spec) right next to it. Also, where it says upgrade - in this case to M3 - the original price will be crossed out and the discounted one will be shown underneath it.

 

Edit: This was for recent testing.

But why the gambling part as mentioned before?

Wouldn't it be better to increase the prizes of the MU's as much as needed, and get rid of the gamble bar?

If we got rid of possibility of MU not working, the price would increase, it would actually got 10 times bigger. This way it would be a 100% buyer thing with prices completely out of reach of other players. The current model is a more casual thing, available to more Tanki players.

 

Let's not argue which of two ways is better, each of them has pros and cons.

I also thought the same........ It will be in the favor of buyers if the gambling bar and "not working of them" will be removed. So you can just reduce the prices a bit low because:

 

Micro Upgrades are a success in the test , but will be a big failure on the main server . On test we have many crys and can spend them as much as we like . but on main we cant spend so many crys . 

i have m1 twins on main server . so on test i tried micros upgrading it . i had to spend 50 k to 75 k crys only to upgrade one phase , that is damage of twins ( this does not include the crys required to speed up the process )  . like wise if i upgrade all the characteristics of m1 twins , i will have to pay more than 200 k crys  to get a discount of only 63 % of m2 ( 80 k crys ) . 

 

instead i would like to give an advice to the developers . For those who micros upgarde before m3 level , u should give discount at different phase .

Ah I see. Thanks for the reply.

Now, you only get discount price once you fully MU a spec. I thought you can get discount even you are half way MU all/some of a specs, why isn't like that?

I also think the same.....  it is totally unfair...... i know that we are not forced to MU any gun, but to fight against other players (buyers) we MUST have to MU any specification. If I want to MU, for example, critical chance of smokey. If i will have crystals very low then i may not MU it but im forced due to buyers and I know that i dont have crystals so i can only upgrade only some steps and not the whole spec. it will make a loss if i will not get full but only 5/9 steps completed because i dont get sale to next Modification 

so please EITHER reduce the prices OR reduce the steps of upgrading specifications OR give discount to the next modifications after every step of MU

I doubt any time soon after MU implemented into real server that a buyer will have fully MU a spec due to probability of slider thing that lands on either half refund/ recieve supplies/ unsuccessful upgrade is actually higher than successfully upgrading one specs. Also I doubt a buyer will be happy to spend on speed up timer. It will drain all of their purchased crystals soon just like a unlucky gambler in Las Vegas.

 

I know that the prices of MU isn't finalize yet, but the refund of crystals is a bit too harsh as it gives back around 50%. Why not refund between 60% - 75% of the crystal on the try again button?

Maybe MU's should be based on how much time you've spent with the gun.

 

when the bar is full, you'll gain a MU... just like you gain a rank on the experience bar for your account.

This is exactly the way it's done in Ratched Gladiator (former game I've played)

There, it's called 'mods' 

 

Those mods, are enhancers for specific stats of your gun... the same as these MU's.

But there, they don't rely on luck; they rely on experience and time.

 

The bar might increase fast in the first few stages, but you'll gain really slow progress in the last mods.

Can't this be done in Tanki?

 

When you use Thunder for example, the MU's of Thunder will be activated. Thus the bar for Thunder will show up under your experience bar.

You can only enable one specific MU, to set it as that bar.

 

 

Don't get me wrong, the bar will increase so slowly, that you should be able to speed it up with crystals.

I have not really thought of the prize. This is just how it's done in a game from 2006.

In my opinion; It's a pretty good system there.  ^_^

What if there is EXPERIENCE with guns? Like I when I buy something , its Level 1 but the more I kill using the weapon , the better it will get . And you'll have to pay for leveling up only . Like If you have enough kills for level 2  , you dont level up until you pay an amount of crystals.
