I think there should be a punishment for bailing out from a clan war.

For example, a couple days ago, I arranged a clan war with TDW today at 18 gmt. THEY CHOSE THE MAP AND THE TIME. NOT OUR CLAN.

My clan started organizing people and tactics, and today TDW said that they can't do it since they are playing another clan.

We wasted so much time for nothing.

If there is no punishment for this, then my clan COULD (not saying we will) just go arround making random times for clan wars with other clans and cancel it on the day of the war :angry:

No unfortunately we can't, anyone can have an unexpected problem and miss the time of the battle: there are too many causes that may lead to this se we can't put a punishment.

A different thing is if they do it on purpose, but still it would be hard to prove because the leader could choose a lot of excuses that it'd be hard for you to verify.

You are right, everyone could say around let's have a clan war and then not show up. But you should take note of the clan which did this and remember to decline further wars and/or warn the other clans about what happened.

Finally, look at the positive side, you trained on that map and you are ready for a future war :)
