Medium?

Many No Supplies games, particularly on Server 2, are found with the title "Medium" in either English or Russian.

 

I always thought that meant they were bordered to Railgun-Hornets only.. but is that true? In a proper Medium Mode game, is it only Railgun Hornet, or does it just ban Heavy Tanks? Can someone explain to me? :wacko: Thank you. :)

@Hog Those are the so-called 'formats'. There was a Russian topic explaining them, however, it's deleted, probably they're updating somthing.

I understand they are formats. However, whenever you see them on Server 2, its not as though you can expect people just to randomly join and fill in the perfect amount of Railgun and Twins can you? So does anyone know how the Public matches on servers are supposed to work? :huh:

They don't. some people listen some others don't; I've been in a Railgun Hornet battle only in Gallery and there were two mammoth shafts mocking about in the pposition team. I once also made public battle called it Wasp + Smoky only and apart from me and my friend, everyone joined with M3 hulls and guns that were Tier 2 (This was before Rebalance). So I suppose there aren't many people caring about this. All tho I think it could be good idea to have only to join with specific hull and gun in a battle or something... Post it in feedback if you really care cause I don't.

I think,Maybe,it is something like napkyp(pakour) which you always see in Test/Russian server... :huh:

And,P.S.,i read the website,and i finally understand what it is,but i think not many people will care about it,since they are all joining for winning

Trust me Wiki, these battles do work. The large majority of Generallisimos out there are respectful and the amount of "Mediums" out there suggests that people do generally follow the rules.. it may be different at a lower rank.

This is the medium format:

 

• Played on 6v6.
  
• Consumables/drugs prohibited.
  
• "Friendly Fire" off.
  
• Permitted Weapons: Railgun (Max. 3 per team), Thunder (Max. 1 per team), Twins (Max. 2 per team and only on light tanks), Firebird (Unlimited and only on light tanks), Ricochet (Unlimited), All other weapons are prohibited.
  
• Permitted Tanks: Light (Unlimited), Medium (Max. 3 per team), Dictator (Max. 1 per team but in this case you can only take 1 more medium tank)
  
• Examples of acceptable combinations: 3 med. + 3 light, 2 med. + 4 light, 1 med. + 5 light, Dictator + 5 light, 1 med. + 1 Dictator + 4 light, 6 light.
  
• Restriction on paints: All paints are permitted but only on Light tanks.
  

 

I guess people just join with something allowed. I'm guessing the rules are allowed to be bent (like paints on all hulls, not just light) as it would be hard to get this exact.

Yes, because it's already planned :P

As well it's planned to be able to play with lower Ms than the one you have, for example, if you have something M3, you will be able to play with its M0/1/2 versions too. It would be useful if you want to make 'fair' duels.

 

However, this option won't come before the new interface.
