Problem with Forum posting!

I wanted to see if anyone else has been having this problem or if it is just my computer, so without further ado, I will explain the situation:

 

I have had lots of trouble posting on the forums recently. I am not 100% sure of the requirements for the problem to take place, but I notice it usually happens when I am using colors and different sizes of text. I will be typing along just as I am now and finish a line that I wish to stop early, so I press, "Return". So lets say I am typing a second line below. I make a typo and press, "Backspace". Rather than deleting the previous character, the entire line moves up and goes from this:

 

Line 1 line 1 line 1 line 1

Line 2 line 2 line 2 line 2

 

To this:

 

Line 1 line 1 line 1 line 1Line 2 line 2 line 2 line 2

 

It happens often. It is incredibly annoying. It usually happens when I do announcements in my team's topic, because they are colorful to draw attention, and that causes the problem to occur. Does anyone else face this issue at all?

It happened to me aswell, but there is nothing to worry about. When writing just be carefull and when you need to use the backspace click it and then check what it did before starting to write again so that you don't ruin your previously made lines.

I prefer it in code version, it's much more simpler

I have the same problem, it's annoying but I got used to it.

It also screws with the size of the font; I sometimes have font 8 instead of 14... and that font was not visible when I wrote the post.

We'll look into it, if it's the forum's problem it will be solved. Actually try using bb-codes instead of this built-in interface. When you create large texts with different fonts sizes and colors it gets mad sometimes. If you put this codes manually it always works perfectly.

Wow, thats really helpful.. I hated when my articles all messed up cos of this. So all I need to do is use the BB Code?

Yes. Hog, you're behind the times... I've been using plain ol' BB code for all my articles since I joined the team :P
