The problem I see here is that there seems to be a gap between the staff and the players. Its happened on a forum I am on too, it used to be that everyone got on and no-one cared who was staff, to an outsider, you couldn't tell who they were. Now, there seems to be a gap between the staff and the4 regular forum users, and its quite sad. The problem on tanki is that there is so much serious rule breaking, that the staff have to deal with that and not just be members of the community. The avies don't help us to blend in either. :P

The following activities are not permitted in chat or the game forum:

- discussing moderators' and Administration's actions. ---> - public discussion of moderators' and Administration's actions.

This way it's a lot clearer how you can discuss it and how you can't.

 

 

We're not complaining about consultants I think, we give a negative feedback. It's an interesting topic IMO, but also confusing. Wasn't it just about the fact mod's or other tanki staff close topic too fast in our eyes? I'm confused now..

Yes, that's what the topic was open for. Please stop off-topic discussion as this one was open to solve one specific problem. And it was decided that topics won't get closed so fast. As long as people in them don't go off-topic.

Took quite a while for Barkode's misdemeanors to be revealed, even though he was doing wrong it took him a while to be sacked.

Your logic fails here, because BK was a Chat Mod. And what he did was related to his Cybersport job, which is even more untraceable, because what he did/tried to do was planned in a Skype chat between him and the other CS guys.

 

What I'm saying is that Forum Mods' logs get checked every week (for those who don't know, every Mod's actions get logged and those logs can be accessed by the Admins/Devs. Those logs contain everything, closed and opened topics, edited posts, etc.).

So if they really spotted Barba closes too much, they would simply fire him.

As Semyon stated, if you want to complain, send him a PM, or write to the support. Include pictures aswell.

Why he isn't sacked, same answer, seems he isn't doing anything wrong. The fact he is so strict just talks good for him, no matter if players like it or not.

I am jumping into the conversation here, and possibly this has been discussed before, but I cbb to check the whole thread.

I personally think the forum mods do their job pretty well.

However, my main problem is the off-topic section. From what ive seen, a lot of topics have been locked for being off-topic(that hasnt been said, but thats the impression I have gotten on several topics).

And, there are lots of topics which should have been locked, and arent.

^ Hitler was a Monster, Moderators are helpful in keeping the community clean even if sometimes it seems like they aren't doing their job properly... They do this for us(The tanki community) To help keep the forum clean and under control.
