I ranked down.. Is that Possible?

This is the picture when I took it first after upgrading my Dictator and Railgun to M2 when I was First Lieutenant.

Then I ranked up to Captain. But I didn't take any pictures because I hadn't done any upgrade and I can not do until I am at least Major General.

Yesterday after logging in I have seen my rank went down and became First Lieutenant and I had Dictator M1 but hopefully my railgun was still M2.

If I hadn't noticed it, I would miss that 25 % discount. Therefore I was in a rush and couldn't even think of taking some picture and just upgraded it to M2 back.

Funny thing is that my crystals were not touched. And I was given crystals back from my Dictator M2. They have taken my Dictator M2 and given my crystals back.

But anyway, I ranked down one level but I have more crystals. Which means in low levels powerful tank and more crystals than before when I was First Lieutenant.

Now the Question: What happens when I become Marshall someday and one night I will rank down to Captain? Please some one tell me that this is not possible.

Below you will see some pictures. First Picture is taken in 12.05.2013 and I have 327402 points and 3877 crystals. Then I rank up to captain and got around 25.000 crystals

Second Picture is from today 06.07.2013 and I have 318292 points and 25.126 crystals.

I am happy though, I don't care to be sent back one rank below. I will have more time and more crystals. My rank was about to become Major. Now I can get more crystals until my rank is Major General then upgrade all at once.

But as I said, what happens when my rank goes back from Marshall to Captain? Then all my upgrades will be taken away? I better keep taking screenshots of my Garage

Maybe you got fined a small amount.Or you could refresh the page.

I have forgotten to mention.. And all my supplies were taken away.. Nope I don't think that I got fined.. I didn't do anything wrong..

Besides this is better for me. I can battle in low levels with powerful tank and earn more crystals. In that level very few have M2 guns. Most of them have M1. And I was almost major and more had M2 guns in my level.

I see this as an opportunity. I had M2 once in this rank already before. Now returning to this rank will help me earn little bit more crystals and more time to save for M3. It would be not nice if I would become Marshall and then suddenly back to lower ranks like captain.

That is all what concerns me
