Freeze was nerfed! Finally.

No one here has to give an apology since the change was not made on the Freeze itself, as Semyon said, but on the Freeze effect. We tested it out and the changes, again as said by Semyon, were very small so we couldn't notice. Next time avoid having this kind of behaviour, try to think before acting that way since, as said by FBI, we are not robots.

The freeze effect was greatly reduced, but it's fine. I am a freeze user and I found playing with it more fun. And as it is already unlocked on a comparitively low rank, and has an OK price, the effect nerfing was fine. No freeze can stop a drugging freeze anyway xD

wow, and you close my Topic? where is now Semyon Kirov to say something about refund?? russian bullying is going too far. this happened AFTER REBALANCE, my gun isnt same and they MUST refund all freeze users who are dissatisfied.

Yeah, sure.... let's be honest, one touch from a freeze and you were stuck, no matter how much damage the freeze did on you... I don't care if it's just an excuse, it's a brilliant update which makes the game more exciting for everyone.

 

And for all the people looking at firebird, look at firebird's price, which is a lot more than freeze... you get what you pay for, firebird might be strong but it's also very expensive and so cutting the effect of it is not fair on the people who have paid a huge amount of cash to get it, in my opinion.

Seems to me like they are just embracing capitalism to its fullest extent as opposed to going back to Soviet strategies. You might want to read up on Rockefeller and Standard Oil for example, as they things you suggest are right out of his playbook. Or Apple's for that matter in terms of walled gardens and non-standard cables. Soviet strategy was always to have lots and lots and lots of identical, cheap weapons (think T-34s or Mig-21s) and win through weight of numbers as opposed to over-priced and over-engineered solutions.

anyway skitee does have a point up there, overall game dynamics was a total mess up before that adjustment. And as myself and other freezer @FaaiqBilal1 posted above , it makes the game more challenging even for us freezers ... and no, they did not reduced the strength, only the initial amount it takes to freeze up a tank..

 

also someone brought up the figure " 2 seconds " to freeze a tank.. well I can tell you its definitely less than that ...

I disagree with you on the firebird.. you're right its the most expensive, so it should be more powerful, and no, am not talking about nerfing it either,, but the burn effect,, solely the burn effect, this is definitely something that needs to be revised.. it only needs some minor adjustments , so am sure devs will figure it out without having firebird owners getting unhappy ..

Firebird is fine as it is. Since burning effect are suppose to degrade health, 20 hp is great for M3. The ammo charge are extremely short and takes ages to reload. Also burn effect kicks in about the same as freeze effect now, I'm happy about it too.

forget about freeze, twins are way too overpowered. i had mammoth m1 and ricochet m1 fully charged,full health, i had to fight twins m1 viking m1. no else shot me and that twins killed me first. so shouldn't twins power be reduced?

twins has already many advantages, like it is unlimited and it can shake the enemy tank so...

I have both freeze and firebird m2, it feels the about the same when the effect kicks in. Also I notice when you use double power, the effect kicks in twice as fast.

Nope, it is true, the effect kicks twice faster with double power as well. I'm using firebird currently and can see the difference between with and without dp.

lol, I already noticed the effect kicks in twice faster since I brought m2 firebird at major rank. But obviously I know double power means twice the power of original! :D
