We should get rid of vote's on the forum!

I agree that it could be misused, and I hope that our players are mature enough not to spam their enemies with dislikes. Clearly, this could be a problem... -_-

I just don't see the point of voting. Let the devs please spend time on real matters: Changing of weapons while being in a battle / Improving ricoshet to it's former power. People moderation. Changing the voting system (Someone who is kicked shouldn't be able to join that battle anymore, till it's over)

In another forum I use this similar update came about 2 months before. The first week or 2 everyone was putting thumbs down on everyone else's posts because it was something new and they wanted to try it but after that time, it was used basically as it was supposed to however, I do admit that there are much more mature players on that forum but the idea is the same. The same thing goes for voting in battles, the first week everyone was voting everyone else down but now they are mostly used to kick off a player that does not play good enough or multing but still is not perfect to this day.

It is a much easier way to rather put a thumbs up if you agree with a post rather than quoting them and saying " +1 " and to find the reaction of forum users to the updates that are introduced. I say leave them for some time and see how it goes, also on the profile it should be covered from others only for the person to see it themselves.

I reckon there is a great risk of abuse, and the feature could even have more bad aspects than good ones.

Obviously trollers, who look cooler in front of the community, will get likes while noobs or misinformed people will be hit with a ton of dislikes.

However, the feature has been included as a test. Someone said the community is too immature and not ready for this yet. We'll see.

Anyways I hope people have something better to do than switching account all the day to give self votes or such things, in the other case, they should take a few hours to think about what they are doing because probably don't understand the main point of a forum. However one thing is sure, I won't even waste a second of my life on this, I have better things to do. Nice posts get a like, bad get a dislike. End of the history.

I was quite a bit suprised when I saw I could vote people's message's. I seemed funny to me and nice to have. But then realising the trolling and the emotions it will bring I think Tanki should immediatly shut it down ....

 

I agree 100 percent. It is just another TROLL TOOL which will be abused and used to fill the Forum with even more JUNK and ABUSE and 10 million more multiple accounts. Tankionline Subscribed Users = 2 BILLION. Perhaps we can change the name of the Forum to RATE MY TOE CHEESE or something to that effect.

What's the harm in making fun with it? You're making a big deal out of something so small. Most of the people here are SERIOUS because you can't do that many things here and there's no room for fun, imo.. And that's wrong; there would be just as much trollers, just that their bans would be a lot harsher.

It's barely impossible to even troll with it; you have a limited amount of votes. Seriously, deal with it.

 

Really, all this is just you making a big deal out of a number next to your posts.

'Will you vote me?', 'I have voted all your posts' and 'I am gonna give only negative vote's to (**). This is one of the worst ways of cyber-bullying. In this world of trying to be the most popular (even if you use someone else for it) it is just not a good idea. Just give that person you hate all your negative vote's, call your friends and let them also vote negative that person and that person might feel sad. That is no problem for the biggest trolls here (who'll create even more accounts just to vote). An example:

And the forum-vote-system doesn't even exist for 24 hours and these kind of messages are already posted. I have nothing against Supernick, but this is just an example the negative effect it gives us.

Is it actually really necesarry? Why should we have it? I don't really see the point, and till now there has been a lot of abuse. That's why I think Tanki should just remove it as soon as possible.
