have you guys had problems testing on ttt. The default map given in the zip file loads fine. But when I label my map as 'map.xml' all i get is a grey screen and I did try following armernia's video and even tried testing the map using his zipped file. Same result - a grey screen. Anyone else had this problem and managed to solve it?

You need to save your map by clicking File→Export Tanks map 1.x. Then open it in TTT. We've reuploaded the archive so if you have problems with it, try downloading it again.

I could not find information about how tall is a level. Could you give an example from the program, using the wall. Is one wall's height a level?

Level means a game surface. Think of the Silence map, it has 3 levels fo height in it.

I downloaded that programm and it runs, but I cant download other file, with props. I use Google Chrome, there was written something about that it is dangerous file and there was onl one button - duscard. Help please.

Just use another browser, it's not dangerous.

Semyon, I still have no idea how to test the maps in TTT. I read the tutorial where it says to export your map to the folder you have TTT in. But what do you do next? TTT won't open.

I have downloaded the "tank testing tool" thingy, but do't know wat to do with it, its just a load of zipped stuf

In order to test the results of your work you can open your map in TanksTestingTool. To do that you need to:

Convert a map to XML;

Call it map.xml;;

Move the file you got to Library folder with TanksTestingTool.swf file.

Launch TanksTestingTool.swf

If everything has been done correctly, the map will be displayed

If it doesn't help try to download the archive with TTT again, we changed it a bit.

How do I get the properties and textures tab to appear? I've searched around but couldn't find the solution. It just doesn't appear :(

There is a blue button on the upper pannel called show/hide property pannel. That's what you need.

Level means a game surface. Think of the Silence map, it has 3 levels fo height in it.

wait...what?

Is the maximum map height 3 blocks? because silence is way higher then 3...I would say about 6-8+

with 3 high, you can only just squeeze in 2 different levels, and silence has 4...

Works perfectly. Thanks :)

The TestTool comes out as a grey screen when I start it.

I made the xml map file and exported it as "map.xml" in the "library" folder. The map includes all functional points except for domination elements. I closed the window which I was working on the map with. I then placed "TanksTestingTool.swf" into the same directory and double clicked that. The result was a grey screen on my Chrome browser. After that, I tried also placing "TanksTestingToolSofware.swf" there, but I had the same result. Can I get some guidance? Don't just send me a link to the wiki because it does not go into depth about how to proceed after an error.
