Everyone having problem with 3 levels description, they mean 3 levels(surfaces). There is no set number of blocks to a level, just dimensions on map. Example, moon silence has a ground level, 1st level and a 2nd level.

cheese3000, I believe it to be right (If anyone can submit a level they wouldn't make it too hard to understand).

Especially if it has been compared to moon silence, they want an interesting map. I believe 3 levels would allow for just enough detail, anything less would be a fairly simple level.

Can a mod from the game back up what I said in post #381 to confirm if i what i stated is true, then everyone will know for sure.

Anyone trying to launch a level on TTT, name the map (map - it already saves as an xml file by default), but move the original map xml file to library folder first. Only step after that is to click on the TanksTestingToolSoftware to launch it. Job done :D

Loading your map in TTT is easy.

You need This.

Save your map("file", "Export tanks map"(I dont know which one is best)), and place it in the same folder as the TanksTestingTool.swf file(your map needs to have atleast 1 yellow(DeathMatch) spawnpoint).

Make sure it is called "map" and is a xml file(if it isnt, rename it "map.xml").

Open the downloaded program, and press "file", "open", "browse". Then browse to the TTT file, and open "TanksTestingTool.swf".

If your map is ok, it will load.

ok, the instructions on the first page make it confusing, and I have never heard of the height of a map being described using levels.

They mean 3 playable surfaces/areas. I got confused by that myself and asked. By three levels, I thought it meant this.

Thats exactly what I thought, a clearer explanation would have been good :\

Also, you may have updated TTT, but the librarys still come up with the same error messages. AFAIK, this is causing certain props not to load, which is a pretty bad problem...

Lol I'm sure they ain't good.

Implying you've seen them; just because I've made a larger quantity of maps, doesn't mean they ain't good. And don't even act like YOUR maps are any better. I've noticed you make comments that are totally uncalled for; it's pathetic.

I know of no "texture tab"...

The properties tab allows you to change the texture on the prop.

but there is a texture tab in the guide photos
