Im guessing the three winners were russian?

The russian thread has them, aswell as other prizes.

 

If so, then only 1 person was chosen for the English, and no offence, but its not great.

The German...well, lets jsut say I dont think that much of it.

 

The first three were good, all of them are definitely good enough to be in the game, bit disappointed that the English had nothing better.

 

This contest could have been a lot better :|

Good maps, but the german winner is just a flat open space with 2 or 3 buildings randomly put there. The map is even symmetrical and does not provide any decent hiding place. Its gameplay will be killed by railguns, and short range weapons won't have a single chance there. Now that I look better the borders are missing. Compared to the already existing maps, it looks like Bridges flatted down and with killed gameplay.

Was thinking the same, however I think they didn't give them because the maps will be put in the game anyway.

Well yes, but it means that English map making will further develop. Labyrinth is quite a good map and was the best one that we received from our community.
