Pushers

What's a pusher?

A pusher is someone who takes their tank, fires at teammates and rams them off the map, or off a ledge so that you fall into enemy fire, or even better you fall off a ledge and flip over.

Almost all of the pusher's I've seen use Twins. Why twins? well they have the most knockback per second. Some of the pushers even use mammoth, so they feel protected because they won't be able to get pushed themselves.

How to get rid of them? Well yes the vote kick is obvious, but when they get vote kicked, they can simply return into the same match within a second.

Pushers can ruin your games. I was having a great k/d (d/l) until this pusher started pushing me flipping me over, knocking me out of bounds, and tossing me into enemy fire.

Solution? Remove friendly knockback. Or have more severe punishments. For example not being able to return to the server.

Thanks for the explanation ^_^

This happens the most in Silence.

It is wrong to push your teammate off but it's alright to push an enemy because strategy.

It's fun to push unaware enemies off the Silence cliff ^_^

There have been times I've "pushed" a teammate, but out of revenge for something that person did to me on purpose. Like pushing me off a ledge for no reason, pushing me into the line of fire for the heck of it, or just making a general nuisance of himself, preventing gameplay, etc. Sometimes other players will help me push him off or into the line of fire. But I don't do it out of boredom or because i think it's "cute." As they say, "Payback is hell."

It's actualy Payback's a b----

However, do you see what you're doing? You are no longer playing the game, you're now caught up with pushing each other rather than capturing the objective, or destroying the other team.

Yeah, I know the quote. And, No, I don't get into matches like that. I do it once and that's all. It's usually players who are bothering others, too, not just me. I observe first not just act in a moment or anger or rage. Sometimes people do things just clowning around, but it's a one time thing and doesn't persist. That's why I observe the player for awhile. I only do the pushing to players who are making a nuisance of themselves. Usually these players show their true colors long before they start bothering me. If the player doesn't bother me, leaves me alone, then I figure it's the problem of the other players this person is bothering.

In Moon Silence (5 man teams), a player was pom-pom'ing his teammates with Twins and trying to turn us over. Once in awhile he'd head out into enemy territory shooting every which way, targeting no one in particular. Well, you know how long he lasted on those escapades. We all got tired of it and logged out of the battle, leaving him there by himself. Finally, he left and we all came back to finish the game. We lost points and crystals, true, but it wasn't very far into the game. We won by a landslide without him bothering us.

Just another form of cheating to help the other team win, really - like running off with the flag, or shooting team mates.  I'd suggest capturing on video and reporting to the mods as someone who is deliberately aiding the opposition...

Lol I only push for revenge also.  :P

When Shafts shoot me for fun to tip me over (On my own team), I push them off the cliff.  Wait for them to enter scope mode and surprise. Everything goes haywire on their screen. And if they camp on the Red pipe on Silence. . . .drive on top of the RedPipe and steal their Crystal boxes. Always works ;)

I haven't really been affected by pushers . . .I just run away. :)  Except for that one time in Moon Silence, there was a Viking/Twins.  I just came back with Mammoth/Twins. Win.
