Welcome to my new monthly review of all that has been going on in the Breaking News topic on the forum! I will be putting a twist on those short and snappy summaries; hopefully, you'll find this an entertaining series!

2nd June 2013 - New maps to be made soon!

The developers have run out of instant coffee after Semyon joined the Tanki staff! It seems he had one too many cappucinos today, and so they've promised to send Bruce to the nearest supermarket to get some more after he has finished polishing Maksim Kh's shoes. Until then, it will be 'impossible' for them to continue to work, and so there won't be any new maps this month.

4th June 2013 to 9th June 2013 - Discount Week

So, this week the devs'll give you an ordinary 25% discount as it's Tanki's birthday, but stagger it so it looks cooler! Unfortunately, the Tanki servers only eat coding, and not birthday cake. On the last day, they've taken 25% off the price of all paints, and stuck this red '-25%' label on them all just in case some players can't read, as requested by FBI.

Allegedly, the fact that Smoky and Mammoth was first up is said to have something to do with a recently hired Consultant, and some Dutch farm exports sent at an unusually low fee to Perm, Russia.

15 June 2013 - The Daily News has been given some changes!

We have renamed "The Daily News" to "Breaking News"! This is because when we release the news, it is almost always a smash hit.

23 June 2013 - Candidate reporters have been accepted

The developers managed to find their stack of notepads, green pencils, helmets, and old newspaper (they had been left in Bruce's office, hidden below a considerably-sized pile of a certain Mr. Dreyar's criminal records)! As a result, GoldRock and his fellow reporter candidates have been officially accepted into the reporter team, joining the pigs and hamsters which already inhabit the team hangout.

After all, who needs a fancy, futuristic Microchip paint when you can be the epitome of swag in a coating of newspaper with Russian jargon on top?

This is probably my weakest article this issue. I had difficulty writing this one... There just wasn't much this month to write about. I will try to lengthen it for the next issue, though; hopefully, there'll be some more important stuff next month which I can write about.
