I uhh... Yeah I guess it was alright; Pre-rebalance Thunder had the best explosions anyway. ;)

Miss those pure red/orange fireballs.

the most devastating weapon.

:wub:  On MU's... from what I've seen in the test server; is that it fires slightly faster than the usual 2,10 seconds reload before the rebalance.

Basically destroys in a blink of an eye  ;)

Thunder is the only gun that shows a big jump in btw its m0 and m1 modification 

so smokey m0 > thunder m0 

thunder m1 > smokey m1

smokey m2 > thunder m2

thunder m3 = smokey m2

smokey m3 > thunder m3

 

and After the MU

Smokey:

its critical hit will become 217, and 9%, impact for 204, 

damage = 30 - 38 at all distances 

 

Thunder

still during one shot of thunder = 2 for smokey 

max damage of thunder will be = 95, while for smokey 38 X 2 = 76 at all ranges,

Reload time                                           Old = 24.3                             Micro = 21.2

However, Thunder can hit multiple people. Smoky can't stop a group of enemies. Thunder can.  And in my opinion, Thunder is more annoying- if used correctly. Cause a ton of damage, then just shoot yourself to avoid death from enemy.

When it was the last time u have seen a group of skilled players move together? we are talking at the level of high skills, skillful players they know how to avoid thunder splash pathetic damage

You know the ramp near the red pipe in Silence map? Tanks usually huddle there. Always great for a Thunder to flush that hiding spot out.

IKR if a thunder knows how to, they can just constantly do splash damage while the tanks can do nothing but run or going up the ranp.

Indeed. For Thunder, you have to be creative. You can't just wait for the enemies to group up. That's why I like Thunder. ..

If i will be playing 1 Vs 1 

using same tanks either wasp or hornet, then i will prefer thunder in small maps

but in big maps sure smokey comes as the first choice

and if both using big tanks and in a small map then smokey comes the first as well

If M1 is deemed as OP at the rank it unlocks then I'd only expect it to play just like any other turret in higher-ranked battles.

just don't go too far, it starts to become useless after lt. ranks

exactly, and at M2 the difference between M3 and M2 is not so big

Is it true that the splash range of m3 is larger than that of m2?

Is M3 Thunder still balanced when you fight a M3 Mammoth?

 

How many kills for M3 Thunder to kill M3 Mammoth?

It's balanced in NS battles.If the mammoth don't have thunder protection,the firing range of your weapon matters too though.

 

Close range=5-6 shots

Medium range=8-9 shots or more.

Long range=Doesn't matter.Your gonna get killed anyways.

No, it counts on the map and what paints players are using, after the epidemic that thunder sucks and most players started to head toward smokey and rail, i many times use my thunder in Kungur when everyone is using paints against rail and smokey or shaft, ignoring that of thunder, but have to be used with hornet otherwise it turns useless with slow tanks, because u need to get close to tanks to cause max damage

Yes its bigger and even from a faraway distance, it wasn't the same 2 months ago, i think devs are doing subtle slow changes to physics of items when the stats don't mention them
