A very enjoyable turret. Just got it m1. I have got a little skilled since then. Very fast and effective. That splash damage. :)

Didn't buy twins ? Btw thunder is better. I upgraded from m0-m2 this sale too.

Thunder is an epic weapon but if it has to face a Viking, dictator,Titan or mammoth it gets weak, a thunder m2 killed me by 5 shots once.

I was using Viking m2 with Python, but with double damage ITS EPIC

Just took an old practice account on a spin, nice to see what you can achieve now, with more or less inferior equipment,  when you play Tanki for a while.

Nothing fancy, a simple Viking M0 - Thunder M0 combo with Forester paint:

We should all get together, and then team up and join a match all using Thunder :)

I was lucky enough to be in a team full of Thunders a few times. Man that was like a paradise...all you could hear was BOOMB-BOOM-BOOM all over the place and tanks exploding. Those were awesome battles. So if you guys decide to do such thing, i would be more than happy to participate.

@Spider, turret itself is enough, don't worry :) I only used it on Hornet on my main...worked great so, use it with whichever hull you have....it will still be fun.

We gotta do that.. Team Thunder. I can use M1 Thunder/M2 Hornet with Cedar. I'm also gonna get M2 Thunder soon...

I once took part in a sandbox CP. We all were thunder hornets and the opp team had all freezes.

So kind of like Thunder vs freeze

P.S. We made 2 of them leave.

In my opinion, the only maps that a close-range team (freezes-fires etc) could dominate a long-range team (Thunders-Smokies etc) are, Ping-Pong and Island.....and on those a team full of long-range turrets, still has many chances of dominating, if played right. So generally speaking, long-range turrets are definitely superior to any close range turret....especially in a Sandbox battle. I can imagine the range of 4 Thunders' splash dmg in a Sandbox....not to mention their total dmg if they shoot together...on average it would be around 240hp PER SHOT(4*60)...and that dmg would go in an area of 5-10 meters...considering you were in Sandbox, it must have been a true hell for those freezes....so no wonder why they left

P.S: From what i've seen so far....when theres a team in which all players have the same turret...that's usually an unbeatable team. Just imagine, say 4 Smokies on the same team in Sandbox...it would be a critical shot hell, right?

or 4 freezers is more creepy

or imagine 4 twins m3 or even worse

4 rico m3 :(

i noticed that rico m3 is a bigg trouble maker, thanks to god that some bullets can be avoided

3 railgun m3 and 1 smoky m3 is a total headache :(

Beautiful! Payback time! I simply  just can't get enough from the sight of exploding Freeze 's! :)

It is indeed great to cooperate with a player with the same turret. I really like to team up with another Smoky in Polygon DM. I always call it: "Smoky terror!" :P

Even without the criticals it is totally devastating when two Smoky 's fire at the same opponent. The rate of fire already does the trick, let alone the impacts......and yes, a critical once in a while...... :D :D

MU'd thunder is epic :o But the MU's seem to cost more and take longer for Thunder than most other items...
