Let's Discuss Thunder!

In my opinion, the only maps that a close-range team (freezes-fires etc) could dominate a long-range team (Thunders-Smokies etc) are, Ping-Pong and Island.....and on those a team full of long-range turrets, still has many chances of dominating, if played right. So generally speaking, long-range turrets are definitely superior to any close range turret....especially in a Sandbox battle. I can imagine the range of 4 Thunders' splash dmg in a Sandbox....not to mention their total dmg if they shoot together...on average it would be around 240hp PER SHOT(4*60)...and that dmg would go in an area of 5-10 meters...considering you were in Sandbox, it must have been a true hell for those freezes....so no wonder why they left :lol:

 

P.S: From what i've seen so far....when theres a team in which all players have the same turret...that's usually an unbeatable team. Just imagine, say 4 Smokies on the same team in Sandbox...it would be a critical shot hell, right?  :blink:

Ya it was a sight to behold! Kind of like as if we were on drugs. I was stealing kills a lot too.

Thunder is really a fun turret to play with. And the feeling when you splash kill someone :D

I used thunder at the beginning on  in  Polygon with my second account, because it was one of better arm that I had, and that I was not ridiculous against people which had everything m1. I was in 3 first  alwas.

MU'd thunder is epic :o But the MU's seem to cost more and take longer for Thunder than most other items...

I find that to be very annoying.

Oh my gosh it was so funny yesterday. I was in a full combe CTF with thunder/hunter/tundra. They had a bunch of freeze and a railgun. So they took our flag got to the other side and were all there. So, I was on my side and I shot once. The guy dropped the flag (killed)! Another picked it up, shot again, dropped! ANOTHER picked it up, shot, dropped! :p :lol:

I kept using the splash to damage all of them which was really awesome!

Because my main accounts are MU 'ing I fight a bit with an old practice account (and also do some Railgunning).

 

Well in this fight I ended fifth, pretty good amongst these high rankers!

Just a Viking M0 - Thunder M0, no goldbox in this match: so réally zero drugs...... B)

 

It is all a matter of using the Splash effect the best you can.

So for example: never shoot at the hull in front, but at the one behind him.

Due to the Splash-damage the one in front gets damaged too.....if your lucky: double kill! :)

 

The number one and two are those "loosers" who use drugs from the beginning till the end.

Everyones own choice ofcourse, but I simply can not see the fun of it.

Killing your opponents easy like flies and most likely thinking you are the boss...... :angry:

Gratz to you...i will be unbanned in about 14 hours.

 MUs really make difference for sure...in 2 days my Thunder will have the reload time of 2.18 and Hornet 190hp :wub:

for the railgun isnt quite that obviously that i MU it,i feel a true change when i am fighting m2 hornets and m2 wasp :D (the chance of 1 shoot is greatly increased B) )

Well, i don't have a big exp on railgun but, why don't you try MU its reload time instead of dmg. I bet you will get much better D/Ls and help your team more, if you have MORE shots and same dmg, than less shots and more dmg.

hmm,for the railgun doesnt matter that much the reloading speed,it counts more the damage :D

I agree because of the splash damage that hurts multiple tanks, but the problem is that you'lltake the splash as well.
