Just want to say hello. So: hello!

 

Yesterday I got banned on my main Smok-Ti-Thun. And rightfully so.

 

A good moment for a fresh start, and to avoid the mistakes I made in the past.

 

I will not go into details, but I already did a full ignore in the settings, which will already help a lot. 

If problems do arise again, I will take it to the forum-moderators instead of

trying to resolve an issue like I had with a certain person myself.

Thunder m0 sucks..

 

 

 

 

Thunder M0 is not the best gun to start your carreer. If you want to play the skill-demanding Thunder a good path IMO is: first you take Smoky M0, very cheap gun. ;)

Zero crystals but not that good either, but you learn to shoot well with it. Lots of shots and easy aiming. 

 

Than you take the M1 upgrade of Smoky. This is a real gemstone! OP at his ranks and the ideal practice gun! No problem to get to WO4 and Thunder M1 with this little wonder. When you are WO4 get the Thunder M1 (discount) but keep it in the garage for now.

 

Still you are ready to play with Thunder, but first the M0.

Sam is right though: Thunder M0 is "not that good", but if you take Thunder M0 on a practice account after a long time playing with Smoky M1, you can make this gun work!

And you better do, because you can go Thunder M1 at once, but than you are not in a "healthy" environment to learn how to deal with Thunder.

If you start from zero again, you got all the time to make mistakes and your opponents will not be as skilled as they will be at WO4.

So you will learn fast and quick.

 

If you understand the Splash damage and you can make it work, only than go to battle with the Thunder M1.

Congratulations, because now you have a very OP weapon at WO4+ ánd it is now in skilled hands. Time for Thunder M1 havoc on the battlefield!

I am not against thunder ok. I myself have it at m2 and it is amazing. I was just telling that thunder m0 ain't that good, though that pic makes me wanna think again. :p

I played with thunder m0 in my alt when I was deciding whether to upgrade to m2 in my main but I really did'nt like the slow turret rotation.

No, I am happy with it. Smok will be replaced with the Lord.

So next time you will be talking to the Lord himself.

Smok will not be completely gone, but will have his use for certain tasks.

 

My main account wil be LotS, because I even spend more money (yes a buyer, I know) and bought the Medium M2 kit.

With which I am going straight into the Pro Battles.

 

So I am contributing some money on TO itself, which is a good thing of buying: without cash no game. 

Do not have to thank me though.... ;)

And by going Pro I am not interfering with normal battles with for my rank OP equipment and paints.

 

No its the contruary: I will be the one with nooby stuff!

Nice though, I like a though DM fight and at least on this Lord account

To battle: nice but not easy, no just hard. These players had M3 equipment and plenty of skills.

 

Been in some drug battles with Viking M2 - Thunder M1 against Gens which were "easier" as a 

non-drugger than these ones without any supplies.

Managed to do a lot of steal-killing there: they steal-killed from me in this Pro Battle! :)

Not many DM 's this evening. So I sticked with a Polygon DM and did three runs.

 

This was my best run in Polygon DM:

 

 

 

 

Found another one, luckily it went easier this time: plenty of Hornets! :)

The Firebirds were the hardest to fight: they have a far reach and you 're well-done in seconds.

Kolhoz was a new map for me, nice! Ofcourse happy with the result of these first Pro Battles.

 

Earning back the 5000 crystals for a pass should be no issue, hopefully with some improvement I will

even earn some crystals.

Revilo, not my intention to annoy you or others: the Lord will always use spoilers, so in the future it could be an option

About crystals for money: you are still studying and I already have a profession. So all tanker have different (financial) situations.

 

Don 't know if you make a point if you buy the kit ;) , but it 's worth it even without a point.

Only the Sandstone in it has no real use compared to the Emerald and Prodigi paint.

All the kits are too OP more or less. None of them should IMO be unlocked before you have the proper rank for each particular

equipment. So the Medium M2 kit should only be available at Lieutenant Colonel.

 

To make the kit attractive they should give the option to choose one or two paints that you prefer within a certain bandwidth

according to the M? upgrade you are buying.

So only if you buy a M3 kit, you can make your choice between the best and most expensive paints.

But also at M2 you could buy paints that are normally far out of your reach.

TO could also do something with free Micro-Upgrade steps to make a kit more attractive.

 

That would still make people buy kits because of the huge discount of 50%  at the time of your liking,

but would avoid the "unbeatables" that are being created right now.

 

If with this Medium M2 kit I were to go to battles from my own rank and below, it would already be completely unfair

towards the other non- or few-drugging players.

If I would use 24/7 drugs on top of the kit: well not hard to imagine. what that would mean.

 

So it might sound like a paradox, but in a perfect TO-world I actually would prefer no product kits at all.

Unfortunately the TO-world is not perfect: only one thing comes close and that is a Pro battle.

 

You need at least M2 equipment and a proper paint to be capable enough to enter them: I rest my case... :)

Nah, you're better getting them all manually. On the assumption you'll get them at a sale (unless you're like me and you succumb to the temptation of getting M2s at full price), you'll spend barely over 100k.

Think about what you're saying here. You'd rather he go and use an M1/M1 combo (since IIRC, he has no M2s) until he conjures up 299,900 crystals to get the kit than buy everything one by one according to rank when sales come. He's not a buyer, IIRC - getting 300k (essentially) won't be a walk in the park. Not to mention, Revilo isn't one to play often which means the ratio between EXP and crystals will be substantially slanted over to the EXP side so crystal income won't be too huge. By the time he gets 300k to spend, at his rate, he'll be able to buy M3 Hornet.

 

The only way what you say could be true is if he buys and I don't know why he'd spend around $210 (which can obviously be translated to Revilo's currency accordingly) for a game he doesn't play that much.

 

But just to make sure - Revilo, are you a buyer? If not, my point still stands. If you are, never mind.

He gets 40 freaking thousand in the 2 twitter contests and then gets about 70 k if he's about my rank for the micro upgrading by the devs. Increased funds can help him to earn about 150 k minimum by that rank. Thats a lot of crystals. Many people have actually bought that kit without spendkng real money. It is possible, just saying. :)

Because you have the M2 combo with a nice paint and you've played a lot to a relative extent. Thunder + Viking is the only combo he talks about hence why I didn't mention much else. If he is getting more turrets and hulls, that only exemplifies my point. He definitely won't be able to get the kit without buying if he wants other combos. Who's to say there's going to be more of those contests? And also, who's to say he hasn't spent the crystals? In fact, who's to say he even took PART in the contest? In fact, I've CTRL+F'd in all the results lists in both contests and he doesn't show up there once. 

 

So no, he didn't get any of them. Here's the problem - he's not "about your rank" he's a First Lieutenant and he gets significantly less than you. I think he was the same rank when they came out, so he only got 49k. He's not similar to you - he doesn't play as much as you. The funds aren't as big in his battles. Sure, many people have bought the kit before but he won't be one of them. Once you've done is conclude without looking at Revilo's circumstances whilst I have hence this disagreement.

 

If you're going to disagree, think about Revilo's circumstance and not your own or the general one. Kthx

It is certainly possible, but I wanted the kit as soon as possible and that was right at the start of my current rank.

 

I did not pay the full amount, because I already had earned quite some crystals with mainly battles.

 

Well let 's assume we have a tanker who has 60k in the garage. Many do have such an amount I suppose.

 

He/she spends 41.97 US dollars, so he gets 60k plus 60k "for free". So 120k crystals is what you get without

the bonus card.

 

With the bonus card this 120k doubles to 240k crystals. With the 60k he already had, he now has

enough to buy a kit of 300k crystals.

 

For 42 US dollars and the double bonus card you get 240.000 crystals.

 

So if you have some savings, in my view a kit is not completely out of reach.

The question is probably more: do you want to spend money on TO or rather on something else?

-First of all, I don't play much at all. I remember that shaft m1 was my second m1 when the rebalance happened. I think I was a lieutenant when I first saw your post and you were a warrant officer. And here we are, with you outranking me.

--- You can't possibly expect me to judge his circumstances and reply accordingly. For all I know he only has thunder m1 and viking m1. The only screenies that I have seen by him are in the smoky and thunder topic.You wrongly assumed that I know all his combos. No One completely knows the circumstances of any fellow tankman, but we still have a what to buy topic.

Hence why I said "to a relative extent" which doesn't imply you play a lot. That seems somewhat true to me since at certain periods, I see you here everyday and at others, you're online every 3 or 4 days. That's just what I've observed. If I REALLY said you play a lot ALL the time, the word "relative" wouldn't be used, would it? Me "outranking" you is beside the point being made here and that alone dictates to me you have a problem with that. Do you really, sam? That's pretty deep.

 

Where's the absurdity? You assumed he did the both the Twitter contests - in order to see if that assumption was true, I checked to see if his name appeared in the results for if he done it, his name would appear there, would it not? As it turned out, his name wasn't there so he didn't do it - therefore, it means you've wrongly assumed too. "He gets" is the start of your assumption. I like to make sure I've got my facts right before making a point, if I can. For al, try and tell in what way visiting another thread and using an official Google function to find something is ridiculous. Is that because that point got proved wrong? Or is it something else? I think it's the first one but prove me wrong. 

 

Sure, you can specify "any skilled tankman" but as you can see, I was talking about Revilo which therefore means your opinion can't fully clash with my own. You've made it apparent your response was not in the context of my very own and that's the root of the problem. No one said they know his circumstances fully but I'm going with what I've seen (picture-wise and what he's said along the lines). At what point did I say you know all his combos? I said if he's getting more that it exemplifies my point about him not getting the kit without buying. There's nothing there about you knowing what all his combos. From what I've seen, I've an idea of them but at no point did I mention you. Either you're misconstruing what I say or you're putting words into my mouth. 

 

Finally, I never said you CAN'T disagree with me. I'm all for a civil discussion/debate/whatever you want to call it. My opinions are generally unpopular so it will happen. What I did say is if you're going to, at least do it regarding the same thing because you clearly haven't - you're talking generally and I'm talking about Revilo of which is a particular case study. You alone have proved this in your post so don't try to deny it now. Initially, I didn't need to compare the two of you but I did because you started talking about yourself some of your points were based on you as if your circumstances are relevant to his in any way.
