I mentioned that I don't know his combos part, to suggest that he has saved his crystals for the kit, which I repeat was what many non buyers who ultimately bought the kit did. I also remember his post where he said that he had 160 k crystals saved up for the kit, so hence my suggestion to him to keep on saving.

Using an official google function is'nt ridiculous.

So generally as well as specifically anyone should try to go for that kit.

 

And my gloves are'nt off, also I won't be seeing how this turns out as I have exams to study for.

Do you have that problem with your PC like with DYKT that you can't quote? Not dictating that to you, just asking. I say that since you seem to get the two confused. Can you tell me in what way? You were pretty bold when using such an example so it could only make it seem that way. 

Saying YOU don't know his combos doesn't suggest to anyone HE'S saving up his crystals. You are irrelevant to his situation. And now you've brought it up, I DISAGREE with the suggestion because he doesn't play often so he won't earn the 80k required any time soon which means he should go ahead and buy them rather fall down with the M1/M1 combo. He himself has acknowledged this shortly after he claimed Smoki has too much time on his hands. From some recent screenshots, he had under 20k which dictates to me he spent it. Though, I'm not sure if the screenshot I'm referring to is that recent.

 

Put the words "aren't" and "didn't" on your wall. Memorize it. Because you seem to think that "did'nt" - "are'nt" are correct. Let me tell you this - if you write like that, you are going to fail your English exams (if you're taking an English exam, at least). Your reference means nothing to me. However, your grammatically incorrect English should mean something to you (again, this applies if you're taking an English exam) which I can assume you are.

 

You seem to think that :P disguises the rude sarcasm you've inputted there. It DOESN'T. If you want to continue that, two can play at that game.

About crystals for money: you are still studying and I already have a profession. So all tanker have different (financial) situations.

 

Don 't know if you make a point if you buy the kit ;) , but it 's worth it even without a point.

Only the Sandstone in it has no real use compared to the Emerald and Prodigi paint.

 

 

 

All the kits are too OP more or less. None of them should IMO be unlocked before you have the proper rank for each particular

equipment. So the Medium M2 kit should only be available at Lieutenant Colonel.

 

To make the kit attractive they should give the option to choose one or two paints that you prefer within a certain bandwidth

according to the M? upgrade you are buying.

So only if you buy a M3 kit, you can make your choice between the best and most expensive paints.

But also at M2 you could buy paints that are normally far out of your reach.

TO could also do something with free Micro-Upgrade steps to make a kit more attractive.

 

That would still make people buy kits because of the huge discount of 50%  at the time of your liking,

but would avoid the "unbeatables" that are being created right now.

 

If with this Medium M2 kit I were to go to battles from my own rank and below, it would already be completely unfair

towards the other non- or few-drugging players.

If I would use 24/7 drugs on top of the kit: well not hard to imagine. what that would mean.

 

So it might sound like a paradox, but in a perfect TO-world I actually would prefer no product kits at all.

Unfortunately the TO-world is not perfect: only one thing comes close and that is a Pro battle.

 

You need at least M2 equipment and a proper paint to be capable enough to enter them: I rest my case... :)

I understand that you don't mean to annoy anyone, and I don't mind the fact that you choose to spend some money on the game to make it more enjoyable for yourself, especially seeing as you have a job. I am more annoyed at the people with no skill who buy a kit and then drug, just to rub it in that they are lucky enough to get a powerful tank (that they can't use). But, as I said before, this is not aimed at you, because your Thunder/VIking skills are very well developed and I am sure you will get the most out of that kit.

Think about what you're saying here. You'd rather he go and use an M1/M1 combo (since IIRC, he has no M2s) until he conjures up 299,900 crystals to get the kit than buy everything one by one according to rank when sales come. He's not a buyer, IIRC - getting 300k (essentially) won't be a walk in the park. Not to mention, Revilo isn't one to play often which means the ratio between EXP and crystals will be substantially slanted over to the EXP side so crystal income won't be too huge. By the time he gets 300k to spend, at his rate, he'll be able to buy M3 Hornet.

 

The only way what you say could be true is if he buys and I don't know why he'd spend around $210 (which can obviously be translated to Revilo's currency accordingly) for a game he doesn't play that much.

 

But just to make sure - Revilo, are you a buyer? If not, my point still stands. If you are, never mind.

You are also right about having no M2s, the only other things in my garage are SMokey, Wasp and Hunter (all M0) and Electra. I have been using M1 Thunder / M1 Viking and Cedar exclusivley for about 1.5 ranks. You also are right that I play very little due to study and other commitments (sport and music etc.). Just so you know, I am sitting on about 85K at the moment, just for accuracy sake.

(only exception in my eyes would be a very young player with a kit but no skill: unfortunately this kit (and/or drugs) will definitely not help him/her to become a better player...)

It was a very disheartening feeling and that was a reason why I stopped playing for a while. After the rebalace that feeling went away as I realised I had bought possibably the most powerful tank at the rank I was at. Now, with the new kits, the feeling is returning slightly... but I am extremly close to M2 Thunder, so I will be content for a bit longer.

M2 Thunder will make a difference for sure, wish you as quick ranking as possible!

Emerald is merely a more expensive Cedar. The only thing that Cedar really lacks

in comparison is the Twins protection. The Railgun-component of the Emerald?....doesn 't do a lot IMO at higher ranks.

Avoid Twins infested battles and you 'll be fine.

 

Well thinking about it: it is really advisable to always avoid close encounters with (the almost always drugging) Twins! :D

 

And Revilo don 't ever forget you would be a much better player than you already are, if you would have had more time to play.

is all about: ripstop cloth, lines, thermals, winch, collapses, harnass, vario, mountains, altitude, safety,

Twins arent drugging a lot,the players who tend to drugg a lot are freeze users and isida users and sometimes even smoky users....

Depends on what Maps, battlemode and with which hull you 're playing.

 

CTF could have non-drugging Twins, I simply have no clue about that.

In DM 's Mammoth-Twins is one of the most notorious drugs combo 's I encounter.

Simply a fact. Even if a player lacks skills, he can still make Mammoth-Twins work

especially when he/she drugs 24/7.

And that 's exactly what happens.

 

If you are a Pro this combo works ofcourse very well. In CTF it is a perfect defender.

Put a Freeze at his side and you have a nightmare duo for attackers.

To control a Mammoth is peanuts and Twins itself don 't need much skill either.

Nothing wrong if somebody likes it btw. ;)

I play a bit with Freeze, a weapon which also needs less skills and effort than my

favourite Thunder, and I simply find it quite relaxing and a lot of fun! B)

 

I totally agree with the latter. You will definitely see more Mammoth - Twins at M3 level.

The combo is nerfed a bit after the NP....especially the "speed"....but on drugs it is still OP.

Just had a two hour fight in a 999 Polygon DM.

Entered the battle when the number one had +/- 200 kills to go.

Never seen such a high battlefund before! (in my own fights, that is).

 

Normally I do not play anymore against my own ranks with the OP equipment I own,

but I 'm not a complete saint  ;)  and the battlefund was like a devil that was luring me in.

Simply couldn 't resist!

 

M2 Freezers gave me a lot of trouble, strong opponents.

 

Happy with the crystals, because I was at zero: did some MU 'ing on the Emerald and Prodigi.

Worthwhile but expensive though.

 

The number one (Hornet-Rail) must have been really happy ánd exhausted.... B)

For me, this is the order of important parameters for Thunder: Damage, Reload time, Range, Rotation speed and Impact force.

I would say reload time ....Thunder is already powerful...having that next shot ready is a major advantage IMO. Then Range, you can reach out and touch those guys trying to snipe you. At least make them move because of damage. Damage and Impact force are next, I don't know which one first. I  would more than likely upgrade them at the same time. Damage is obvious why to upgrade. Impact force you know will knock the would be killer off target improving your survivability. Rotation speed is not that important to me but I guess it would be the cheery on top of an awesome weapon. 

 

This of course is my opinion but maybe it can help you figure out your strategy for maximizing the potential of Thunder
