Not quite, railgun is usually only effective in Desert if it is No Supplies, since everyone uses drugs.

The rails always hang at the ends of the map... working together, and as you know, rail is a kill stealing gun..so rail is somewhat effective in Desert.

I absolutely agree with that, because am a rail user too so am working together with other rails in Deserts DM's.
