so then tell me how long will i survive with smoky M2? dont have money to buy twins and smoky both M3s, and i absolutely need twins during tankmans day to balance my long range and short range turrets..

I hate when people say this turret sucks now, just because it used to be OP and isn't anymore. Doesn't mean it sucks ._.

So in either a Polygon or Sandbox CP match, would this turret (as an m3) be stronger than a smoky m3? Curious since at the high ranks everyone either has rustle or emerald to protect against thunder.  -_-

Well, if you accept my noob-rank advice... XD

 

Thunder should be better against Medium and Heavy hulls because it has quite a bit more damage than Smoky. But Smoky totally WRECKS light hulls! M3 Smoky was my worst nightmare on the test server... I recommend you to use it on Monte Carlo if you do get Smoky XD

Zola, my personal opinion is thunder would prevail as i myself experienced it, especially in polygon..reason being, in these single point CP maps, everybody concentrates at the point and that makes an ideal splash damage area for me, where as smoky can only take out one by one..if every enemy tank is wearing emerald, i would then change turret..

Yes I considered that. My only issue with purchasing thunder is, I would use it for the most part only in Polygon CP matches then; which are much more rare than Sandbox CP matches. So let me ask it again, for Sandbox CP's, would you still go with thunder?

u've seen me haven't u, taking thunder to sandbox CPs, but then again i don't have smoky M3, i too am not sure what would i do when i'll have smoky M3 in my garage..so i'll leave it for others to reply..

I tried to use my thunder on sandbox CP..russian people call thunder users on CP sandbox noobs..I must say,I agree a bit..since I am playing much CP matches,I must say,thunder is very bad for sandbox..smoky is way better..but!!!..thunder for polygon..with all those inferno/zeus users :D :D :D

@stinger911 that's allways the case on those ranks,when there's a paint discount..I remember when I purchased it..major rank..few days it was pure madness :D :D one battle on CTF silence,I will allways remember it..full map..18 rustle paints,1 corrosion,1 spark :D :D :D
