I've never used thunder or paints with protection against it but intend to try it; does the paint protection work for its splash damage too? and if yes, does it protect against self damage too?

Paint protection works for any kind of damage caused by Thunder; this includes splash damage and self-damage as well.

I will never get banned except the times i flood f when i miss the gold . Thunder is a UP when without drugs and when with drugs it feels 3 times better

yes .. full reload, full damage, nearly full range as it affects the amount of its damage as well .. only impact force not all steps
