I find Viking to be very effective. Good speed and health.

I find mammy to be too slow. Sure it's a killer when you get to the point, but I've found that getting maximum points hinges on getting to the point fastest. That's something that you just can't do with mammoth. By the time you get to the point, your team will have capture it already.

I found mammy better for CTFs and (T)DMs :)

 

For Cp my hunter is better with it xD

I use thunder with hornet. I hate using slow hulls, there's not a lot you can do to counter druggers coming at you at fullspeed unless you have the speed to get out of the way. Wasp is too ugly for my liking.

I have a silly question: Is this a stupid idea if I want to use Viking-Thunder only all the way to  and don't use other turret frequently? (Except Vulcan/Fire.)

 

The only problem with Viking is that you can't 'rock' too much.

Clans aren't for me because almost all of the clans are based in: Central Asia/Europe/US/Russia and my timing clashes with their training session. Also, in star ladder, English speaking clans tend to be defeated often so I gave up that dream long ago.

 

XP-BP is hard for a non railgun user. 

 

Throughout Tanki, I have only played intensively in small-medium maps, rarely in large maps: Polygon/Noise/Silence. Occasionally I would play in Island or Farm. (Although less now until I get Fire M2 on sale.)

 

But you're right, maybe I should think of what to get for XP-BP late in Tanki Career path...

Micro-upgraded it on the New Years sale when speed-ups had a 85% discount. (MU 's were 50%)

It 's very strong now and really doesn 't need any more MU 's. Won 't change that much.

(besides want to use those crystals on a Smoky M3)

 

The Thunder is used with Hornet and I use this speedy hull to avoid those opponents that try to hug me.

I happen to be quite allergic on self-damage!

This combo also excels in tipping/rocking.

 

On DP 's it 's total devastation. Damage 140-180 with every shot. Barely legal.

 

Micro-upgrades on rotation speed are a personal favourite. Depends on your play-style if they are worth it.

 

Micro-upgrading Thunder M3? In my opinion definitely worth it and a Thunder M3 needs MU 's to compete.

Fully M4? IMO not needed.

Now I have to think twice to make the correct decision: Buying M2 Fire or MU more on my Thunder M3. (+1 Damage, +2 Reload ATM). The only problem is seeing more Cedars, Rustles and Emerald in Polygon CP...Loam, and Fire Protection paints? Not so much...  :ph34r:
