Just realised, thunder M4's reload is gonna go between Now's thunder M1-M2 :/

 

And M3...gonna go just a lil better than M0 ._.

You can't be serious ._., that will make Thunder UP.

Ik. To me it seems like they're encouraging thunders to camp and stuff.

Take a Poly CP match for instance. Just sit on one of the high ledges, and rain HE rounds upon the enemy.

Great way to get XP and stay on the top of the list, but it really detracts from the dynamic gameplay the devs want.

Poly CP seems pretty mindless anywhere on the map , to me. I suppose thunder still can work there since the outer ledges are (60m to center) for Max damage. However Thunder's splash is taking a super hit inflicting only 10% for a 12m radius  at any range(6-9 points a shot). No longer will thunder be able to splash blast opponents hiding as there is no Max damage splash range anymore.

 

Am I correct in this stuff?

This is so stupid, why are they nerfing thunder when hammer is wildly OP and out of control? Nerf the hell out of hammer. Maybe make it so pellets spread a long way so beyond 10m there is no way to land all the pellets on your target.

 

Ugh, why am I bothering. Hammer users represent the skilless minority of players who spend a fortune on drugs. The devs are bound to keep 'em happy. Hammer isn't getting a real nerf. Damage is the same. Ugh. I hate hammer.

Now's M4 thunder deals 6 shots in 10 seconds

average damage per shot is 80, 6*80=480

 

after update it will be 5 shots in 10 secs, average 97.5

5*97.5=487.5

Not a great change IMHO, I wouldnt like it at all to give my rather fast speed just for 7.5 more damage  :)

Well GREAT JOB TANKI make the gun that sends all tanks to hell more OP! Great! Now I'll have to compensate for a different M3 because you guys made SMOKY UP than any other turret! -_- 

 

P.S: This update sucks! All my main turrts (except isida) have received a NERF!  Congrats Tanki! I owe you one!

uhhhhhh kinda (this is only from a speculative, looking-at-paper standpoint) both the buffs contradict the nerfs lol

current M4 Thunder's DPS (calculated by damage / reload): 45 damage per second.

test server M4 Thunder's DPS: 46 damage per second.

 

In terms of raw damage, this isn't a nerf. The extra damage and blast radius compensate for the lower reload speed. It'll take some time to get used to, but in my experience on the test Server, it hasn't gotten any weaker.

i used thunder m4 & dic m4 in sandbox DM & everyone started to kill me first so i guess thunder is buffed up a little

the splash damage is also reduced, which is why i think it is a nerf to me, and possibly a few others. Other than that it's a buff for most others b/c they r nubbies

I usually play against M3 Hulls, which have lots of HP. With a paint? Eh . . .I would prefer faster firing rate, not damage.

Just pop in an Overpowered health pack and boom, all your "damage" is gone. Faster firing rate brings on more options, say, moving onto another target, or getting in one more extra shot before your enemy gets away. Or making more use of the impact force. I think if it stays like this, Railgun's going to be better than Thunder. Just my opinion.

 

Emeralds, Prodigis, Rustles, Cedars, (And Clay??) paints will be a much more pain in the neck to Thunders I predict.

Double armor and/or health pack, boom. Good bye Thunders, as I either get within self-damage range or get away easily with the flag.
