If you want a versatile hull choose Viking (Hunter)

 

If you want a hull for defending, holding CP points or DM choose Mammoth (Titan),

though IMO depending on your skill level the Viking can do all these tasks just as well.

This is the Thunder topic. You suggest dictator, which aint bad. I would not suggest Mammoth because mammoth is too slow.And before the rebal I would not recommend light hulls either for thunder.

Most likely no, Not many ppl use that combo,

Yup, speed isnt ALWAYS important...

True, it can partly make up for the lack of armour: but heavy hulls have the

advantage in such tiny Maps.

 

Wasp and Thunder can be pretty effective with the hit and run tactic. I just think its too low health.

Wasp and Thunder in skilled hands can be awesome, if not it 's a total noob combo.

So lesser skills? Take Hornet... :D

 

Thunder in general probably is most effective with Medium hulls.

Though it 's a heck of a lot of fun to play it with light hulls!

And indeed: hit and run can be very effective.

I've used m2 on another account and m3 on test server and the difference isn't that much.

Test server: everyone has mass drugs and M4 turrets,hulls and paints. Everyone is playing around and nothing is serious.

Real server: People's items generally range from M1-M3.5 and they do not all drug constantly. People take battles seriously
