Yeah I Want Thunder M3 and Emerald From that Kit .

Mammoth is also great which i need sometimes to complete "Capture Points" Mission In Island .

But a Long Way to go , I First Figure out my situation and Economy and have to decide accordin to it :)

Thunder is very easy to play with if ur having skills and viking or hunter it will go totally wrong if u play like newbies

I have a couple of alts, one of which is a Thunder-Hunter rig which I swap out with Twins. WO4.

 

I think what bothers me about Thunder is the inability to finish off the enemy in a "single" attack. I mean the complete offensive volley before you turn it over to your opponent to do their worst. For 'clip' based weapons like Hammer, Ricochet, Firebird, etc... This is the total yield before you have to stop and reload.

 

I love Thunder on damage drugs. One shot city. But the weapon is mostly useless without them.... You end up giving team mates (if you are lucky) and death match competitors (otherwise) easy kills without getting much of the credit or the kill count for yourself. Disappointing.

 

Back to the single attack theory... Thus my shift to Twins... You can keep firing until you kill or are killed. Range and low dam per sec are all that keeps this turret in check. Other turrets like Vulcan do well in this area too.... Firebird is king right now. These are turrets which do damage at different speeds BUT do that damage CONTINUOUSLY giving the opponent little opportunity to retaliate.... Most victim tanks usually attempt an unsuccessful retreat.

 

Bottom line... Turrets with long reload times will become less and less appealing as tankers get sick of getting toasted, drained. or frozen while they wait in frustration for their slow weapon to recharge.

I don't know why everyone is saying thunder is ruined all the time I can consistently get 1st-3rd in battles using no drugs at all (even when team mates are drugging) as well as high kill numbers.

this is using thunder m3 with 2 dmg upgrades, emerald and dictator m2 upgraded to 260 armour.

Well one reason why i don't use Thunder is because Emerald paint is getting very popular. You can see it everywhere . And moreover its 42% for thunder , isn't that make thunder like almost half its damage ?

It's good when there's only one control points in my opinion, because then you can deal damage to multiple opponents with just one shot. It's extremely good with double damage on. Though, if you want to capture the point yourself, there are better weapons than Thunder. :p

Thunder m3 is overpowered. I think thunder m3 should be less powerful, because it becomes way too powerful and kills everyone, especially when used with power ups.Thunder m3 should definitely cost more, at about 200k, not 158k.

I haven 't played with Thunder M3(M4) anymore for quite some time. Meeting other Thunder players as opponents I believe

Thunder is far from OP. Without DP it 's even a bit underpowered IMO. 

 

Could be a different story at the ranks you play with though.

That Viking/Shaft at 1:10...first a Thunder shot, than a mine and finally a Shaft shot in it 's right side...poor guy! :D
