 i think it feels like godmode_on when druging with m3 thunder and mamoth :P

Well, at M3, all the other turrets and hulls become powerful too, so a drugging M3 Thunder-Mammoh wouldn't be very much like Godmode_ON since you don't have a 90% damage resistance paint. Everything else would be able to do a lot of damage to you too.

It's good for Polygon CP when there is a ton of players on the CP because then you can camp out and use it's splash damage to your advantage!

ok, so for the upcoming 50% turret sale in two days I could buy fortress kit (m2 mammy, m2 thunder, and rustle paint).  But I have heard some bad things about this kit and don't know weather to buy it or to not.  I already have Boar kit (m2 rico, m2 dictator) and i would have just enough crystals to buy the fortress kit on the turret sale (I have about 100k cry)  so should i buy it or just save for an m3 kit or just buy like hornet and isida m2???  PPLLLEEEZZZZ help me out and respond before the end of sales.

I not use Thunder much, but it's good for distance shooting. Thunder M1 with double damage killing M0 and M1 hornets with one shot. If that players have double damage, then kill with 2 shots.

thunder was always my favorite turret. I have thunder m2 now, i played very much time with it but i feel that thunder is a bit too weak.And there are no that big differences between thunder m2 and m3. This turret needs more power, its just too weak

this man deserves a medal. For too long thunder has lived in the shadow of railgun and smoky. Thunder needs to be buffed.

My dream combo is thunder/viking/Picasso or prodigi. But with the paints update, it's anyone's guess to what the new paints will be...

I was one of those naysayers for Fortress - only because Bulldozer would be available just 4 ranks later. I bypassed Thunder-M2 and waited until I ranked up to get the Bulldozer kit. I am glad I waited because it really wasn't that much of a wait.

 

Yes, that combo with Sandstone would look very attractive!

What does the splash damage figure quantify? 223 will kill a wasp with one shot so it obviously different to the normal damage.

Thunder is great but I really hate the self damage it does making railgun better at close range. I wish Thunder didn't had that I'll sacrifice splash damage to not have self damage.

splash damage works within 10 meters (~1.9 vikings) of the impact point. My thunder does almost exactly 80 damage per shot, so since splash damage does 25% of normal damage, I could kill the average hornet with 9 shots. This is helpful to know if you are fighting two enemies, and one of them is, say, a hornet that needs to be killed in one more shot, but the other one hasn't been hit yet. Just shoot the larger one and the hornet will be destroyed!

Thunder?! Deadly?! It's rather weakest M3! Go with Thunder M3 and Hornet M3/ Wasp M3 in DM polygon wi!th any paint against top ranks, who majority uses Twins/Smoky + Mammoth and don't drug: Let's see how good you'll be in the game against them: somebody try to do this and record it and then upload on youtube and gimme link: let's see how useful thunder is then! Because Thunder M3 is so useless, I'm using Freeze M3 instead and I'm good with that!

thunder isnt at all good with wasp ( maybe gud with hornet) + thunder is also weak in polygon. its gud in maps like monte carlo, massacare, breast ,srarpa....(whatever it is :D )

Well, it does have certain advantages too, doesn't it? It's better than Freeze/Fire/Isida/Hammer in terms of range. It's better than smoky in terms of damage per shot. Railgun fails in terms of reload time. Thunder also has a special splash damage advantage. A feature only seen in Freeze/Fire.

Especially in Polygon CP when you are at the highest point in map, shooting at enemy tanks gathered around the point. Then your team can take over the point when you clean it from enemy tanks.
