thunder isnt at all good with wasp ( maybe gud with hornet) + thunder is also weak in polygon. its gud in maps like monte carlo, massacare, breast ,srarpa....(whatever it is :D )

noob, thunder is one of the best for poly. Put it on mammoth, a good thunder paint, and you will be fine. To me, thunder/wasp is useless.

There is a problem with Thunder at Polygon. It is a small map and if you are nailed by Mammoth/Twins you have nowhere to go. Even if you are using Mammoth or Titan. You can try to win that duel with drugs or you're doomed to self destruct.

noob, thunder is one of the best for poly. Put it on mammoth, a good thunder paint, and you will be fine. To me, thunder/wasp is useless.

Thunder/Wasp is my No1 combo.  -_-   :P

Micro-upgrades Thunder М4

 

All thunder's favorites, please vote to improve thunder.

Main Fact about thunder:

1. Very poor performance even its m4. Cannot kill  wasp m2 without thunder paint over 2.5 meter 1 shot even its thunder m4. Must come very close then wasp die.

Recommendation: Increase thunder m4 damage to 145 max

 

 

2. Too many paints of thunder very very high protection. If you just buy thunder m3, no effect at all, must upgrade to slowly see its effects.

Recommendation: Increase thunder m4 damage to 145 max

 

 

3. Smoky m4 vs Thunder m4.

Winner is Smoky m4. You get to shoot only 2  or 1 shot with thunder m4 max and die, smoky shot more max 3,4,5. Also, close combat, fire, freeze, smoky, Vulcan and so on nearly have all the advantage as thunder reload is too slow.

  !!!!!!Thunder m4 very very slow reload!!!!!!.

Recommendation: decrease thunder m4 reload to max 2 or even below.

 

4. Thunder m4 no splash damaged at all. The enemy life remain a bit(very near to die), but when shot to other enemy near him, its splash nearly do nothing, you must come very close for splash damage work.

Recommendation: Increase thunder m4 splash damage.

 

5. Thunder m4 range too weak.

 Recommendation: Increase thunder m4 range above 160.

 

6. Impact force a bit okay. Must improved.

Recommendation: Increase thunder m4 impact force above 330 is okay.

 

7. Thunder m4 rotation a bit okay.

Recommendation: Improve thunder m4 rotation.

 

8. Thunder m4, when you already shot and just die, the shot do no harm, its useless as you have die, why???

  Other turret even you die, the shot is accepted, here with thunder why not accepted, the shot is already shot. 

Recommendation: Must change, before die already shot must be accepted.

 

9. Raw Fact: Thunder m4 is now the worst turret in the game due to all of its defaults.

  • Damage: (58.6-87.1 → 78.0-110.0)  = no good at all, do not see its splash damage at all. (must be max damage: 145 + high splash damage)
  • Impact force: (229 → 300) = a bit okay, must be 330 like this
  • Reload time: (2.85 → 2.50) = very very very bad. (now when a fire burns you, a 1 shot only you can shot, when dealing with other enemies, max shot you have is 2 or 3 that all, (thunder m4), its reload should be below 2 or 2, that it.)
  • Rotation speed: (99.0 → 124.9) = a bit okay, satisfactory
  • Range: (125.9 → 140.0) = very very bad. above 160 is acceptable

yes its reload is very slow, there no splash damage with thunder m4, its damage is very weak.

You want to buff almost every aspect of Thunder by quite a bit. That would make it too OP.

 

Also, no likes yet, let's see how many likes you get to know how many people approve of your idea or not.

yes its reload is very slow, there no splash damage with thunder m4, its damage is very weak.

Your Thunder M4 ?

 

Basically you're suggesting to bring the old school thunder back but higher damage?

Thunder needs to Reload faster, And a little more power. Smokey and Hammer both reload faster and are more powerfull with less shots needed to destroy other tanks

i like thunder and in a month i   buy thunder m2 wiht hornet m2

 

 

even it isnt very good m4 its very good weapon for  pro battles wihtout smart supplies

 

 

it needs double damage and a lot of mines

Guys I don't get it. According to the damage tables given in the wiki and in game, my M3 thunder (10/50) should be able to 2 shot stock m3 hornets within the max damage range (90 * 2 = 180 (duh) 180  > 166). However, I find that I am never able to do this.

Thunder is serioiusly weak. Thunder M1 is the best module for thunder, the m2 and m3 are not really different. It takes same amount of shots for all the thunder modules to kill a hornet M1 which is not upgraded. Tanki should increase the power of thunder cause the only real difference is the time it takes to reload. Thunder M3 should be able to kill M1 and M0 in one shot.

It takes same amount of shots for all the thunder modules to kill a hornet M1 which is not upgraded. Doesn't seem to be the case when I use it. M1 Hornets go down with 2 shots from my M3 Thunder, and even my M2 Thunder was capable of destroying M1 Hornets in two shots (not quite as reliably, but still).

 

Tanki should increase the power of thunder cause the only real difference is the time it takes to reload. Thunder M3 should be able to kill M1 and M0 in one shot.  Increasing the damage of a stock M3 Thunder to that level would actually make it more powerful than M4 Thunder and would drastically increase its upgrade potential to the point where it would practically be a rapid fire Railgun. This would be too powerful compared to other turrets unless the rate of fire was slowed down heavily, and at that point it would basically be a Railgun with splash damage. Not very good for diversity.

Thunder deals quite a bit of damage per shot, but it's important to remember that its strength is its range and splash damage. The damage per second isn't supposed to be especially noteworthy (it's about the same as that of Smoky) compared to turrets like Ricochet and Vulcan, but it allows you to utilize cover effectively while using it, is very reliable, and can attack multiple enemies. If you're expecting to knock targets out with minimal shooting, Railgun, Shaft, and Hammer will be more to your taste.

I just realized that Thunder is a tank-sized grenade launcher. :D

 

actually, it is the closest to modern guns in MBTs. Except, its reload is MUCH faster than even the best trained loaders, and even faster than autoloaders. It is simply shooting a high-explosive shell. Note: NOT a HEAT shell, because that would shoot out a beam of destruction when it hits the tank. Noobsmoke's shell is probably apfsds-type, meaning that it penetrates through armour with no explosive force.

4. very versatile can be used in polygon CP and also at medium maps or even large maps with a faster hull

5. Unlocks at a very low rank which means while others still have m2s you can be destroying them with your m3 thunder.

Honestly, thunder is really weak. I say smoky any day. My M3 thunder (10/50) has been a huge disappointment for me so far. M2 smoky can hold its own against m3 thunder any day. The damage tables must also be wrong. Withing maximum damage range, my thunder should be able to two shot stock m3 hornet with no thunder protections. However, this never seems to be the case. They should either buff thunder or fix the damage tables so at least they don't mislead players like me into making poor purchases. M3 seems to have the strength you'd think a M2.5 turret would have.

​I saw thunder M3 in action. It took Thunder M3 2 shots to kill me while I was hornet M1 with 0 upgrades. That's the same amount of shots it takes for thunder M2 and M1 to kill M1 hornet. You should test the thunders out to see what the difference is. Cause there isn't much. Thunder M3 should be able to kill M1 in one shot. If your worried that it will be too strong then just put the price up for the M3 version to make it fair for players. Also increase the price the upgrades cost.

thunder is ok but hammer or smoky for faster reload

Smoky already is overpowered. Even the M0 reloads fast. Smoky is fine how it is if anything it is too strong. Hammer takes skill it has 3 shots before having to reload in short distance it is very affective, however in long distance its kinda useless. Hammer should be used in small or medium maps for it be useful but overall both smoky and hammer I fine how they currently are. The weapons that need improving are rico and thunder.
