Can you tell me a way to defeat m1 thunder? They do Peek-A-boom, and they can 1 shot me, 2 shot me with DD if I use a heavy hull. This is so unfair. And I can't even escape the splash damage. It is even worse if they have an isida.

What are you talking about? Thunder isn't Over powered its Under powered. It takes FOREVER for it to reload, the M3 is not much different from the M1. I did an experiment. I was M1 hornet and checked how many shots it takes an M3 thunder to kill me with no damage or upgrades (PRO pass). It takes 2 shots for M3, 2 shots for M2 and 2 shots for M3. So what's the problem? Thunder isn't strong its weak compared to other weapons. And in battles your not supposed to escape. The thing that people hate more than mults are ''runners''. Instead of running from the thunder try fighting it. An isida will follow you until it kills you and a thunder will just use supplies. I'm talking from experience.....

I could use some helping opinions :) I really like the thunder m3/hunter m2 combo.

So i have planned to get viking m3 and mu it to hunter m2 speed (35/50). However, i've started to think i might not like viking; it's really low profile making shooting up harder, it's heavy, so i can't do those awesome lean-off-a-cliff-shoot-and-let-the-recoil-push-you-back-up thingys. it's slow so other m3s and m4s will easily get on my face. It's also really wide and has no drift so it could mess up my driving for a rank or 2.

The competing hull is ofc hunter which has the drift, speed, is argueably better in no mus and no drugs battles, and works well with my isida, i've heard. Im worried it will be too unstable. At m4, would i get knocked around all the time? The unlocking rank is a problem too, the first rank i could get it at would be general, with the worse half of hunter kits.

I could get hornet m3 now and nomad at general so i'd have xp as a bonus, but is hornet m3 much of an improvement from my hunter m2?

Or maybe i could get viking, and then buy hunter later, but then again, that could be a waste, if i ended up muing 1 over the other as many do.

Or maybe i'd just mu both of them to, let's say the 35/50 and never get an m4 hull, but that'd be bye bye to the most intense battles right?

Or possibly viking m4, and hunter for no mu battles only. Would that be wise, or would i not like viking m4 and regret not muing hunter instead?

Help plz

I have thunder m3 with 37/50 mu so 73-104 damage, was in a battle with someone with hull with life at 99,I could not kill him with 1 shot no matter how close or far away or from front side or back.

We tested this for several battles and many many shots so my question is did tanki reduce damage and not change stats to reflect this change?

What was his protection module?

I feel like he was just saying it had 99 health, but if you checked the r you could be 100% sure. Maybe he mued the hull on the spot so r did not update, though i'm not sure if that would work. Maybe it is a bug with your thunder or his wasp specifically, my thunder m3 certainly deals the promised 87.5 damage. Ping is also a thing, that tends to do stuff like this. Maybe he was a lagger, and never really took your shots from the seen distance, or maybe you are, or even the whole server was struggling.  You should record it, if this repeats itself.

Guys ! I play with Hornet m1 and thunder m1 and My rank is WO5. I saw that there is just too little difference between m2 and m3 . Should I keep playing with it or change main turret?

I would get m1 thunder, skip it's m2 modification, and get m3, and upgrade it to m3+, then it would be a great choice

Thunder m4 is really really good. It can wreck havoc in polygon cp especially with drugs. I would prefer thunder m4 over smoky m4 any day especially because it's more fun and vulcan can replace smoky.

Performance of thunder m3 with 7/50 MU

acc775de4e6441a396bd46f930bed7f4.png

idk why people say thunder is bad

For one reason... It takes M3 2 shots to kill M1 hornet.... I mean I guess that would've been ok if M2 and M1 wouldn't take 2 shots to kill M1 too... M3 should be able to kill in one shot. But longer reload time.

A little bit of this, a little bit of that...And here's what a Thunder paired with Viking can do:

By "A little bit of this, a little bit of that" I mean 48/50 micro upgrades on both Thunder and Viking and a few drugs

Thunder still works well even in battles full of Generalissimos with or without drugs...unless a ridiculous amount of players have serious Thunder protection which unfortunately is the case quite often

P.S.: In the picture I think they were talking about me in the chat ;) Although I still don't know if it's a good or a bad thing...

Now with alterations: 15% less damage on Max & MIN but 25% faster reload. Would this be good or bad?

I think good. More reload would mean ability to deal more damage in shorter interval of time. Not sure though.

But wouldn't it still be hard against those who wear Thunder paints?

I haven't tried Thunder in a long time :P

Even a non-altered thunder will be weak against a module guy.

That alteration is better for poly cp as there are always an enemies in sight and have to rapidly switch between them so less damage per shot with more reload is better imo. Missing shots is less thing to worry, you can knock aim better, you might be able to get another shot if an enemy is running away.

It will be better for people who couldn't 2 shot m2 hornet with m4 thunder. I think this increases its damage per minute slightly but I'm not sure. Someone have to do the math.,

But the alteration isn't for you if you want thunder to be high damage per shot weapon or want to use it like rail.

Wouldn't thunder is UP with alterations?

I find that damage is more important in Poly CP...Many M4 tanks roaming about.. like Titan/Mammy.

Don't really know if -15% min and max dmg with +25% reload is an increase or decrease in dpm
